This unit has an adjustable thermostat and 12 hour timer and shuts off automatically when the preset time has elapsed. Comes with ten 16'' x 14-1/2'' shelves. External dimensions are 18'' x 15'' x 16-1/2''. Excellent for drying jerky, herbs, fruits and vegetables. Instructions included. 110 volt.

Maybe just got a bad one...,November 3, 2009

"I borrowed one like this from a friend and absolutely loved it, so I bought me one. The first time I used it, it was making an awful noise. Thinking maybe it was a shelf vibrating or something, so I set the timer for 5 hours and went to work anyway. Luckily I came home for lunch to find it STILL running (7 hours after I started it), and the timer stuck at 3 hours left. The entire dehydrator full of jerky meat was ruined and over dehydrated. I am very disappointed and going to take it back to Bass Pro Shop and swap it for another one. Maybe I just got a bad one...."

Advantages: Ease of use, Good gift, Style/Design, Value for money, Well made/Durable, very quiet Disadvantages: no disadvantages
"I have one and am getting ready to purchase 4 additional units for my business.
Dries perfect. I looked for quite a while before deciding on this unit. Sure glad I did.
I had to turn off the a/c to make sure it was operating because the unit is so quiet.
This unit costs a lot less than commercial dehydrators that I have researched.
Would highly recommend this unit to anybody."

Taste as good as it looks.
"This is a Great product. Holds approx 18 lbs of Deer Jerky at one time. All meat dries evenly and in a lot less time than others I have owned. I haven't been sorry with any Lem Product I've bought at Bass Pro."

"I HAVE USED THE DEHYDRATOR FOR BANANAS, HERBS AND CHEESE THAT I GRIND AFTER THE MOSITURE IS REMOVED. WORKS GREAT; SOLID CONSTUCTION. NOT FLIMSY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD DEHYDRATOR THIS IS THE ONE."

"My wife and I cut up some banana strips and apple slices as soon as we received the dehydrator. They came out perfect. The adjustable theromstate works great, The 10 stainless steel trays give you a lot of space for drying. I would without hestitation highly recommed this dehyrator to anyone looking for one. I do not believe you could find a better one. Size is perfect and so is the constuction."
