Handy little item, December 4, 2008

"I bought this for my son to take along to scout camp a couple of years ago - almost as a bit of a joke. They go during the hottest time in July and we joked that the little fan probably wouldn't help too much.
We were wrong. It helped circulate air to keep him from being miserable at night. The next year a couple of other scouts had one as well."

"I was given this fan and have had alot of luck out of it. runs forever on one battery and worked very well to keep the air(if you know where to put it) circulating in my 5 man tent."

"I bought this before a summer camping trip. I thought this would be a great item to have in case of a high temperature night or worse high humidity. The magnet worked good for holding the base to the top of my tent. BUT... the fan blade falls off if suspended upside down. Another bad point is the power... it has a very small area of coverage and you can't feel the air/wind if your more than an arms length away. (so this is worthless in large tents) I ended up attaching it to my backpack so that i could position it right next to my pillow.

I was really disappointed in this product. I like Coleman products, but this one is not worth the hassle."
