"i lost my 12lb anchor on the second trip out got hung and could not free it i got my 15lb mushroom back. i was in heavy current that pushed me back on a pipeline that crosses the river.. my river anchor and 50 feet of rope is still in the river"

"I have two of the 12lb anchors on my 17ft Tracker Bass Boat. These anchors have never failed to hold tight even in windy condtions. They are fairly compact in size and do not take up a lot of space in the boat."

"I bought this anchor after a friend recommended it and I was pleasantly suprised. My buddy has a 16ft alum. bass boat and was very happy with this anchor after several others didn't hold tight. I was a bit unsure since my boat is a 19ft fiberglass bass boat well, let me tell you a 15lb at each end and my boat stays put! I couldn't be happier with this anchor"

Great Anchor,April 2, 2008

"After messing around with several other types and brands of anchors, I was told that this would be the best one to use. I took a trip to BPS and bought a 30# anchor in hopes that it would keep my 17 foot fiberglass boat in place.
Regarless of wind or other conditions, tying on to this anchor is like attaching your boat to a truck engine. Once it finds a hold, it stays put. Keeps me on my cold weather deep water Crappie spots.
Long story short, unless I loose this by mistake, it will be the last anchor I every buy."

"This is the most versatile anchor I have ever used. I find it works well in Lakes, gravel or sandy bottom rivers with moderate current and the coating saves wear on my boat. I have serveral sizes of these anchors and will sometimes use them on the bow and off the transom to keep my boat steady in the current or wind. Thanks Bass Pro."

"Bought two 12 pounders, I use in salt water coves sandy bottoms. Windy conditions and changing tides and the anchors preformed well for my 16ft Pan fisher. The design of the anchor allowed it to dig in and hold the boat."

"This 15 lb anchor is the best. It holds my boat in swift current to keep me in place so that I can concentrate on fishing. When the time comes to pull it up it is not a problem. I would need a 25 pound mushroom anchor to hold like this one does."
