"THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY, EVERY PLACE IT SHOWED FISH WE COUGHT THEM. THE ONLY DOWN FALL TO THE FISH FINDER IS THE DEPTH OF FISH MARKINGS, DUE TO THE SMALL SCREEN THEY ARE HARD TO READ. IT WAS AN EXCELLANT PURCHASE FOR MY TROLLING BOAT THAT IS USED ON "NO GAS" LAKES."

"I have purchased two of these during the past three years - one for my bass boat and one for my pontoon boat. They do everything I need for general everyday fishing. Accurate depth finding and marking fish. The only negative is they have a tendency to accumulate moisture under the lense cover when it rains. I solve this by putting a quart-size baggie over the instrument during inclimate weather. For the cost, I highly recommend this depth/fish finder for the average fisherman. (and woman)"

Not bad for the price,

"I bought this unit for my Gheenoe I mostly fish bays and inshore. So far this unit has bee 100% reliable. I'm not trying to use it to locate grouper in 100' of water but for watching the depth in the back country and locating drop offs it has been great. I just wish the screen on my Ifinder GPS was as easy to see in the sun."

Perfect portable...,

"While I do have other units, I use this one for ice fishing and canoe trips.
Running on 8 AA batteries is an awesome feature.
It is easily carried onto the ice or mounted onto a canoe.
Easy instructions to follow and key pad selection.
Used to own Hummingbird and Bottom Line, but always had problems with the lens fogging.
No problems yet with this unit.
I usually fish in lakes less than 50 ft deep so I have no complaints about seeing structure or fish.
For under $80, it's a great deal."

"This is an ok fish finder. I end up using it strictly for water temp. and depth. The sensitivity is difficult at best to adjust. You either get too much noise or not not enough to accurately detect fish and underwater structure. There is no "Happy Medium." I still use it occasionally but really just for secondary information."

"Have had this on my boat for about two months. If using on your trolling motor, ask for the adaptor piece. Works ok, needs some type of volume control especially when using the Fish I.D. Seeing the fish and numbers is good. Simple install, instructions easy to understand."

worn out oprning it,

"I will have to wait a bit to review how well or poorly this works. I am thoroughly worn out trying to open the packaging, and covered with band-aids. Why manufacturers think they must seal their product in heavy, untearable, unbreakable, inflexible plastic is beyon my knowledge. The plastic sealing this product is virtually unopenable. I had to use a utility knife to cut into it and in so doing I cut myself a couple of times as well.
So if you have the slightest or mildest form of arthritis I suggest you do not purchase this item. I facetiously responded "yes" to; Would I recommend this product as a gift? I would only give an unopened new one of these to someone I did not like.
I will write again once I mount this and use it on my boat. If it works great, I will have the store open the next one I buy."

"I bought this unit for my bass boat. It was easy to install and is simple to use. The screen is kind of small, but is easy enough to read.
At high speeds, it still shows depth which is a big plus.

"I bought this fish finder this summer to use on lake that was difficalt to fish.While trolling slowly I was able to find alocared dropoff that showed many groups of fish sitting at 40ft and only on the slope.We placed marker boyes out and keep drifing over the slope. We had a blast,never could of done it with uot the fisfinder."

"Price is right! Bass Pro had these on sale for $59.95 early this year and I bought two of them. Mounted on the console and the other on the bow mount trolling motor of the pontoon boat. Works great, throw out my markers traveling at good speed, then swing around and cruise up to the markers with the trolling motor using that fishfinder to locate specific points in that vicinity"

"I love this unit. I do alot of structure fishing so I need to keep my boat in specific spots. I have it mounted on the bow, and with the simple operation it tells me where I want to be. There is simply no need to buy expensive units that are fixed on the bow for water to get into. This unit is quickly removeable. My friends have wished they say this unit befor they purchased a big name brand."

"With out going into great detail, as stated on the previous reviews this is a great unit. I was able to see a 4" drop shot worm and weight on the screen when it was directly under my boat. I did a lot of looking and reading before I decided to purchase this unit in replacement of an older Eagle unit I had been using on my Jon boat."
