"I bought this for stripe fishing and when it finally arrived i found out that to use it you have to drill a hole in your rode. You can take the metal out of it but it is not big enought to use with out it so to use it you have to have the metal in it. Which means you have to cast it then use something to unscrew the metal then put the rod in then screw it back up by the time you get that done you might already have a fish."

"This belt can be a lifesaver from fatigue on saltwater as well as fresh. It is comfortable, lightweight and funtional as you can remove the inner pin to fit any size rod. This item is a must for surf fishing."
