"I'm sure this lure works well in saltwater, but I bought it for bass fishing and this thing is dynamite. It really works well when you are trying to catch large bass but even some small bass will try to take this lure."

"These are big noisy plugs that can draw vicious strikes. I've used them in saltwater and fresh with excellent results. They are best used on stout tackle with at least 15lb mono. An excellent topwater plug that works very well when fish are aggressive."

Great popper for big bass!,March 22, 2009

"I initially bought this for saltwater, but I decided to try it for freshwater. The bass love this lure. I was using the junior version in redhead(07). The bass loved it. The jointed design should be incorporated into smaller freshwater specific poppers.
Overall, I like this lure. Largemouth, or bluefish, this lure works well!"

Awesome striper and blues popper,November 26, 2008

"This Lure is completely amazing it has done nothing but good to me and all of my friends, they all have one also. So me and me and friends head down wickford on friday at 5:30pm and I through in this six inch creek chub, there was no bait jumping or any sign of activity so I went to the end of the dock were the water is shallow, flipped this Knuckle-head in and on my fifth pop A 10-pound schoolie striper slammed it, followed by about 20 more that night, also great for monster 20 pound plus blues just in Wickford. I fish in Wickford and NK RI. The only minus about this sick lure is that after about its second time seeing water all of its paint came off, however it still works as good as it did with paint., over all awesome gater blues, and striper lure."
