Makes Tubes Snagless, July 15, 2009
By SeldomSeen from Springfield, MO

"I tried the XPS Tube Weight because I was tired of getting snags when pitching tubes rigged with a regular tube jig with an exposed hook. I throw tubes most when fishing small rivers and creeks from a canoe, and recovering a snag from a canoe in current is a major pain. My favorite combination for river smallmouth is a 3" tube, 1/8 ounce tube weight and 1/0 EWG Gamakatsu hook. Non-rattling style in clear water; rattling weight in turbid water."

Briliant!, January 29, 2009
By Luckie from Harrisburg, PA

"I fish smallies in the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers and snagging on the bedrock is a constant problem. These clever weights solved the problem. I use a 4/0 wide gap hook that extends past the tube body, goes through the skirt, and is skin hooked on the other side. This set-up allows weedless performance and the tube body stays out of the way for good hook-ups."

Awesome product, June 9, 2008
By Styx from Lake Champlain, New York

"My fishing partner, Weekster, let me in on these babies and I absolutely love them. They are a must have to your arsenal. Use a 3/0 hook and run it inside the tube and you have the ultimate rig for weeds and grass. Works great where there is a lot of shale that grabs most other tube rigs. A++++ BPS"

Overlooked weight, January 12, 2008
By dawg48 from Southern Tier, NY

"I started using these weights a couple of years ago. The weight keeps your bait more compact with the weight inside the tube, there's less hangups, and t-rigging your bait makes it weedless around weeds and timber. The trick to using these is using the right sized hook. For 3.5 in tube I use a 3/0 ewg hook, and for a 4 in, I use a 4/0 ewg hook. The 1/16 th and 1/8 th oz sizes, I prefer to use, depending on fall rate that I want. Give these weights a try!"
