Quite a suprise,

"I recently purchased a new reel and needed a rod to go with it. A BPS employee recommended the rod because he said in his opinion it was as good as the high end rods made by other companys. I figured if he was only half right it was a deal so I bought one. I bought the 6'6" MH model The next morning I caught about 15 1-2 lb bass until I boated a 6lb largemouth with it and to my surprise the rod had great backbone. That fish fought for quite some time and went under the boat almost bending the rod in half twice! That rod took a beating and held its own. The sensitivity was surprising as well. I had no problem feeling my lures bounce the bottom. I ended up catching 25 bass and felt every one of them way before the line "ran" . My fishing buddy was so impressed with how it handled, he bought one and it has replaced his high end rod. This is a great product for the money. Try one and I promise you will be surprised"

Good Bang for the Buck,

Advantages: Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"Of course there are better, more sensitive, more expensive rods out there you can buy. But for a weekend angler on a budget who wants a dependable rod that has good backbone and isn't going to break easily, this is an excellent buy. I have three of the 6'6" medium action rods, and I love them. I have a couple of Ugly Stiks too, but they seem to be a little thick for bass fishing. These BPS Graphite Series Rods are a little thinner, and feel a little more sensitive to me. And again, they're surprisingly strong. I take good care of my equipment, but I'm also a little clumsy sometimes. I've had my three Graphite Series rods between 2 and 3 years, and haven't broken any of them, not even at the tip. You can also catch these on sale sometimes for $29.99, which makes them even better."

Perfect Kayak rod,

Advantages: Performs well, Quality, price
"I bought this rod last summer and paired it w/ a Mitchell 308Xe and 10lb. Trilene XT. It's a 5'6" 1pc. model and it works GREAT for all the kayak fishing I do (Old Town Otter). It's been very durable, is easy to handle in the yak and has nice tip feel w/ good backbone. It has landed many feisty bass, pickerel and crappie with ease."

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"I ordered this rod when I was delpoyed in Iraq and couldn't wait to get home and use it. I'm a fisherman on a budget so I was excited when i held it. Light weight and very sensitive. I love the long handle. Great for worming w/ Texas rig. My rod was recently stolen and I will replace it with two more."
