"I first bought this rod to replace one I broke since I was just beginning with baitcast setups I went with the graphite series for the price. I got a 6' MH rod and it has been excellent. I fish Mark Twain Lake alot and it handles 3 and 4lb bass all day long with great sensativity and the stiffness to bring them out of brush. I also use it to catch grass carp at night and I have brought in a 35lb carp on this rod and it held up great. I plan on purchasing more of these rods to replace the others I have."

"I bought one of these and within a month the pistol grip came loose from the blank and spins around it. No big deal, I bought it when it was on sale for 20 bucks. Bass pro usually makes a great product so I figured I'd order another one and give them another chance. The second one took about two months and the handle did the same thing. For the $20 price tag it doesn't bother me, but if I had paid full price it would. Otherwise a very good rod. Basspro Shops offered to replace them but I would have spent $20 bucks sending them back. I also have the trigger grip version of this rod and I have no problems with it."

"T Tired of carrying around 7 and 7 1/2' rods and wanted something easier to transport and fish with so thought I would give these a try. Got one casting and one spinning and am well satisfied. Components alone are well worth the money. I have IM8 rods and thought they would be so much better, BUT, they are heavier. Only negative is no hook retainer, but found little clips at Bass Pro for less than two bucks and they work great. These are great rods for the money and when they go on sale, I'll probably get me a couple more. Better get ya some!!!"

"Very good rod for the money. The sensitivity is fairly good as well. Try the rod and you will not be dissappointed. Only downside is there is no way to balance the weight unlike the BPS Extreme rod."

"I got the 5.5 ft rod at Christmas and just recently got to give her a good run. She's more sensitve than Alan Alda!!! The price is truly great too. I used to tell everyone that an Ugly Stick is the best rod for under $30. No more, now I will tell them the BP graphite series!! Being "old school" I like a good pistol grip. I feel I have better casting control and that's what I grew up with. These rods are definetly worth trying!!!"

"I bought this rod due to the grip and inexpensive price, and really didn't expect anything great in performance. Boy was I surprised! The first time I used it, I had a shallow diving stick bait on and could feel the bait "swimming". This rod is so sensitive, It felt like a shark had hit the lure when I caught a 2lb bass on my third cast! I've caught several more bass on it in the past couple months and love this rod. I have recommended it to several friends. A great deal for the price! J. P. Holman"
