Advantages: Performs well, Quality
"I've used this line on my spinning outfit while fishing in Florida, and i must say it is a very strong and reliable line. The only problem is, I was using a zara spook and when you fish this on a slack line and reel (which is required for the zara spook) the line may knot or twist. However i highly recommend it for anything else if you are fishing weeds or plan on catching strong fish"

Decieving,August 5, 2009
By Iwanna50pounderfrom CT
Disadvantages: Durability, Performance, no retention at all
"I first purchased this line for using on a small baitcasting reel when chunking, and I can say out of all the braids I have tried this one had the worst perfomance. I only could get about a month of hard fishing on it before it lost its coating, which made it cast better, but sacrifices strength; if your the kind of person who changes their line frequently after any sign of weakness, this dtuff will drive you nuts; once that coating's gone your gonna want to cut it off; go with Stren of Suffix instead."

The only line I use for baitcasters,July 15, 2009
By fisherman45
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, incredibly strong
"This line is incredible!!! It's extremely strong! I was out skipping a frog under trees one day and I cast out past the tree but the line hit another tree and I pulled up my frog to get it out and the hooks dug into the limb. I spent 15 minutes pulling as hard as my rod would let me and it never broke. Also the castability is great and there's zero memory and it has great abrasion resistance. Buy this line and you will not be dissapointed."

Great First Impression,June 16, 2009
By blurayguyfrom Columbus, OH
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"1. Do a double or triple knot as instructed
2. Enjoy
Really, I went with 50 test line on a Daiwa Gold Cast GC120 (spincast). It went on the reel easy as pie and sails off at great distance!!! My father has a Quantum Kinetic Open Spin and I was sailing my line way past his.
It does hold a bit of water, but when I pulled the cover of the reel right after fishing it looks more like light condensation. No biggie. I was throwing a 1 oz lure on a 6ft MH Lightning Rod by Berkley."

Not a good experiance,May 28, 2009
By tallmoonfrom Danbury, Wisconsin
Disadvantages: Difficult to use, Performance
"Well, I guess I will be the one to slam this product . I had it spooled on my Mitchell 300xe. Got to say I spent more time taking out knots or cutting line to get back to fishing. I was so upset with this line I tossed it in the trash. $18.00 wasted. All I have heard is posative remarks so I purchases it. But after 6 days of disapointment and spending more time dealing with knots. Sorry to say the only good thing I can say is it has superior knot strength. It was a good thing my old rod had Fireline on it. It saved my vacation. I re-spooled Fireline today."

Great Braid,May 25, 2009
By whenigrowupfrom Arkansas
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality
"This line has been a great performer for me. It has no memory, ties easily & is extremely durable. So far i have only had it break one time, and that was while pitching a frog in to some thick pads. The one trick to this, as with any braid, is to tie a polymer knot; other knots tend to slip. I tie the line directly to the lure (no leader necessary) and have not only caught many fish without re-tying, but have also drug up several logs, weeds, lilypads and anything else you can think of. So far i have used only the 20lb in moss green and will not be going back to mono... ever."

Great Line,April 21, 2009
By AnglerPridefrom Toronto, Canada
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"This is the only line I use on all my reels. I use 50 lbs test on Bait Casters and 30 lbs test on spinning reels. It’s strong with a small diameter and ties knots very well. I’ve been using it for a few years now and never had a problem. If I want to finesse fish or if in very clear water I just tie on a Fluorocarbon leader."

Best Braid I have used.,April 10, 2009
By aMpEnRgY1
"I was watching a saltwater fishing show one Sunday morning and heard them talking about power pro, I was in the market for a new braid as the season was drawing closer, I went and purchased the 40 lb in red, and the 10 lb in green, I have not been disapointed in either of them, they are very good quality line and at a decent price for any bass or saltwater angler, I'm a bass guy, by region, but when the chance comes, theres nothing better than saltwater, and this line performs great in them both."

The Best Braided line,April 4, 2009
By BassSlayer117from Holland, MI
"When you get in those fishing situations in which you have to use higher test line, braid is what you need for the job. Ive used all sorts of brands of braided line, Including Suffix, Stren, And Spiderwire. They've all been good, but none of them done the job for me better than Power Pro. It doesn't knot up, and I can get the casting distance I need with Power Pro line. Pick up a spool today!"

"i recently bought and tried out the power pro braided line and i really enjoyed it but theres a a lil problem with this line when the wind is blowing and u cast the line out it makes knots on youre line thats why im only giving it 4 stars but the casting is incredible i matched this line with my plfeuger and they both work together really good. i would definitly purchase and use this item again i would recomend low vision moss green or camo green, great line give it 2 thumbs up"

Great braided line.,February 27, 2009
By bakasurvivorfrom Iowa
"I have been using this line for a couple of years now and I must say that I have been happy with it. I have the red power pro on two of my baitcasting reels. The line is very durable and I haven't lost a fish due to line breaking yet. The color in the line does fade to a light red after a while but for me, it's no big deal. One thing that I have seen people say they didn't like about it is how hard it is to break when you get in a snag. I never find it that hard to get out of a snag with this line. Just give a good hard pull on your line and either the hook will bend and you still have your lure and can replace one of the hooks or the line simply breaks... Has never been that hard for me.
Overall I have been very pleased with this line."
