Great worm, July 2, 2009
By Bassinkid from NE Wisconsin

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Style/Design, Value for money
Disadvantages: Durability

"In wisconsin when I need to fish high pressured clear lakes, I rig this with a 1/8 ounce screw in weight on a 1/0 bass pro red worm hook. They are a great value and are super deadly on finicky fish.Been using theese for 10 years and have yet to find better!"

Good Ribbed Worm but Needs Scent, June 19, 2009
By BubbaJay from Mc Leansville, NC

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well
Disadvantages: Durability

"This worm has great action for a ribbed worm. You can detect the grip on rocks like crazy. I just wish this worm had a more salt or some scent to keep the fish interested. It is a way to make a good worm great. I also had a difficult time with a large diameter hook tearing through. When I went down to smaller hook reliability went up."

tick,tick,tick..............WHAM!!!, April 26, 2009
By rooster061 from OHIO

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money

"Tubes were always my staple for creek smallmouths(BPS bass teasers) but lose a lot of plastic and lead. Decided to use worm texas style and i was not dissapointed. These 4" worms brought out the fat females where nothing else would. They are not as durable but still cheaper in the long run."

Outfished My Zoom Big Dead Ringer, October 10, 2008
By Crimedawg from Olathe, KS

"It was the middle of a clear day and I went to my usual fishing hole. The bass were being very selective. Normally the Zoom Big Dead Ringer Pumpkin/Chart does the trick, but nothing was biting. I decided to tie on BPS 7" Squirmin Worm (Watermelon/Chart) and the hits started. Landed a variety of sizes, including a big 'ole fat 16" that was ticked off. (I don't weigh my fish, but this was the thickest one of the summer!) My guess was 4 lbs easy. Thanks BPS for a great product!!"

"this bait is excellent in all water conditions. i use the water melon chartreuse tail in very clear water, and black with blue tail in muddy water. this bait is great in high pressure situations, when bass are not biting. it is great for large and smallmouth bass. i use it texas rigged with a lite weight, and let it flutter to the bottom. bouncing it off the bottom very slow works the best. this bait works for all size bass in any situation. i would pick some packs up if i were you. good luck!!!"

Best worm out there, January 21, 2007
By tcbnaflash

"I fish all kinds of soft plastics, 90% of the time, and this is by far the best worm I've ever used. Here on the Ohio river, watermelon seed with a spray of chartruese on the tail is the color to use. In clear water I use pumpkin seed. The bass seem to hold on longer for a more solid hookset. The only drawback is, the bait is so soft after 2 or 3 fish you have to put a new worm on."

great bait, July 11, 2006
By paul from California

"The description recomends using it carolina rigged....I also recomend shaky head style too. Great bait in those pressure situations. I also like to throw it if after fishing one spot with the wacky worm and the fish stop hitting it, before I move on I throw this out there and usaully pick up the last few bass. They also seem to be the biggest."

Super Bait, July 11, 2006
By Slider from Bellevue, NE

"I have used the Squirmin Worm in 4 different colors. Because of the deep ringed ribs on this bait the bass seem to hold on to it longer, giving you much more time to set the hook."

BPS - Squirmin Worm hooks shy bass!, July 7, 2006
By graydmk from Springfield, MA

"I fish many ultra clear, highly pressured waters in the Northeast. I purchased the BPS Tournament Series Softbaits - Squirmin Worm to entice the gun-shy bass that inhabit these waters. I was hooked into a nice largemouth on my 2nd cast when 1st trying the Squirmin Worm. If the conditions call for a down-sized finesse bait, I rig the BPS Squirmin Worm with confidence."
