Disappointed is an understatement,November 16, 2009
By Thesewadersruinedmyhuntfrom Coats, NC
Disadvantages: Quality, leaked first time in water, worthless, useless
"For everyone who gave these waders a favorable review, count your blessings. You were extremely lucky. Opening day - first time wearing these waders, I lowered myself down from the boat into the water and both legs were soaked before my feet touched bottom. And i do mean soaked. wetter than i had ever been in my old waders these were meant to replace."

Best Purchase Ever,October 21, 2009
By Rangers1from Gray, Texas
Advantages: Comfortable, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money Disadvantages: Fit/Size
"I duck hunt every day of the season and some times it can be in the teens to 80 something and i wade almost every day and i still wear them when i hunt in a blind that my boat can get to. they are great to use in the spring and the summer when you are getting your blind and stuff ready for early teal season and regular duck season. My feet always get cold but not in this product."

Best Waders Ever,September 4, 2009
By msmithla
Advantages: Comfortable, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"I'm about to start my 3rd year on these waders. Absolutely the best pair I have ever owned. No leaks or problems what so ever.
Very warm but not so warm they can't be used in early season. The low profile boot design makes them very comfortable when kneeling or squatting.
Note: They run large on the foot. I normally wear an 11 but had to get a 10."

Purchase at own risk,July 30, 2009
By H20Dogfrom Ft Riley, Kansas
Advantages: Comfortable Disadvantages: Fit/Size
"I purchased these waders at the begining of the 08 Kansas duck season. After using them 15-20 times in weather ranging from -15 to low 30's these waders kept me very warm for the most part. My feet didn't stay very warm despite the 1000 grams. After adding some inserts that i cut from high density foam they stayed much warmer.
The over all quality of the waders seem to be decent. The seam stiches have held up, but the knee guard stiches have not. This may be due to wading through slushy icy rivers.
One last thing. DO NOT buy them without trying them on. The fit of these waders differ from one another in the same size."

Best Value for Waders,July 9, 2009
By Gholmes08
Advantages: Comfortable, Quality, True to fit, Value for money Disadvantages: has a shoe like boot
"I bought these waders 5 years ago and although I have had to patch them one time, they are the toughest waders for an avid duck hunter to buy. The average lifespan for waders used by a very frequent duck hunter is about 3 years and these have met the mark!"

By lbrown95966from oroville, CA
"I bought these waders on 12/15/08 and by 1/10/09 the left knee pad came off. Then within another week the seems started leaking but not a little leak it was like someone had poored cup of water on me . All in all these are the worst waders i have ever bought and i will be sending them back and asking for my money back."

Excellent Buy,December 3, 2008
By PanicOnTheFlywayfrom Southern Ont
"I purchased these waders for the duck season and also for some steelhead fishing. They are easy to manouver in and they are very warm. I did have one knee pad fall off, and on my next trip to Bass Pro, i exchanged them and they replaced the pair no questions."

Keep Searching !!!,September 9, 2008
By duckattack
"I bought these waders for the 07 duck season. At first, I thought they were pretty nice, they fit well, and were comfortable. But when put the the test, was another thing. If you are an avid duck hunter .... you will have to walk/wade into your secret spots a boat will not get to. I thought these would hold up to a minimal amout of abuse, but that was not the case. The worst part of the waders blew out, the stiching between the legs. The pretty camo around the boots started peeling off, and one of the knee pads ravelled off. I sealed them up for the duration of the season, but will never use them again for late season hunting. I would not buy them again, its a waste of good money. My thoughts."

Couldn't Be Happier,August 5, 2008
By scattergunnerfrom New Mexico
"I've had these waders for four years now and they have been through some pretty grueling waterfowl hunts without a hitch. The 5 mm neoprene is warm and tough--it doesn't feel as spongy as other neoprene waders, so it takes abuse from brush, ice, etc very well. The boots are toasty--I have hunted in temperatures below zero without my feet getting cold--and are just tight enough around the ankle to keep them from slipping when you're walking through muck. I really like the tread pattern and the traction studs--they really do help in icy conditions, although they will break off if you do a lot of walking. The velcro pocket on the front works for storing smaller items. The pass through "handwarmer" pocket really doesn't serve it's purpose, but the D-rings on the front allowed me to attach a handwarmer/shell holder. The buckles on the shoulder straps ensure that your waders stay on, and the adjustable wading belt lets you tighten the waist for early season hunts or expand for a little more room while wearing late season clothes. The only thing that I have had to repair on these waders is a small tear along the inseam, but that was my doing on a barb wire fence. For everything these waders offer, they are worth every penny."

awesome,June 30, 2008
By moosemasterfrom Ontario
"So, I bit the bullet and baught a pair of these waders last week, and spent my Canada Day long weekend up north of Kapuskasing, Ontario to do a little fishing in the Abitibi R. which gave me a good run with these guys, very very happy with this purchase, kept me warm but not to warm and especially dry for the 4 days I was up there, the flexibility and manueverability was also awsome. Thanks RedHead for another great product that an average guy like me can afford!"

Wet Cold Day,January 19, 2008
By whitetailchaser18from South Carolina
"The Red Head Bone Dry waders are very warm untill the water started leaking through the hole in my boot. The first day i used these waders the glue that holds the boot on started coming off. We were on the lake and it was 30 degrees and it was very uncomfortable hunting with freezing cold water in my boots. Other than that they have done alright. I would reccomend you spend a little more money and buy a better pair of waders."

Decent Waders for warmth but not duribility,January 10, 2008
By Harshmanfrom Troy, Missouri
"I have to admit these waders were very warm on an all day hunt in 30 degree weather. A 9 hour hunt and I never got hot or cold they were perfect. The only down side is they started coming apart the very first time I wore them. The layering on the boots rubbed of the first time walking into the blind and the pocket on the front started tearing at the corners. Hopefully customer service will be as great as it has been in the past on other purchases , because these waders are going back."

"I used the extrems for the first time last night in 19 degree weather in west Texas. While setting out decoys in frozen waters, I never once felt the eliments. They were to my surprise very warm and comfortable. The best pair I've ever used. A must for waterfowl hunting!"
