"Like the previous posts, does not like really high grass. But does a great job keeping things nice. We usually, use the tractor with bushhog for initial cut, then follow up with this. As long as we do not let area get out of control, this does the job. Makes getting to stands easier when hunting season rolls around. Does a good job of getting rid of leaf litter. Also great for doing proper cutting on food plots as recommended, and mowing around fruit/nut trees."

Tough and Dependable,October 29, 2008

"I have had a Trailcutter for several years now. I use mine to mow my food plots and keep 4-wheeler trails mowed through-out the woods. It is pretty much amazing what it will mow down. If you can get to it with your 4-wheeler, you can pretty much mow it.
Mine came with tube-less tires and I had problems with flat tires. I had tubes installed and put "Slime" in the tubes. No more flat tires since then.
Parts for the mower are easy to get from Swisher Company."

"I have used this machine to mowe the brush and grass in between 35 acres of planted pines for the past 3 years. The mower works great on brush. If you can run over it with a 4 wheeler this thing will chop it up. It does not work well on tall grass. The grass gets clogged up under the deck slowing the blades down. Since I mowe once per year the grass is usually knee to waist high."
