"LEM grinders are good, and this year's models with the stainless steel head and auger are probably even nicer than my last year's model with Niploy-coated head and auger. Nothing wrong with Niploy coating, but I think the stainless steel will be a little easier to clean.
My only problem came when grease somehow started showing up in the meat. I called LEM and they are going to send me an O-ring which should fix the problem. Not everyone will need the capacity that comes with a .75 model, but when I made a 10-lb. batch of brats a week or so ago, I was glad to have it.
There are a few nice features, including the carrying handle, which many grinders do not have. The handle also helps support the meat tray, which I think is a nice feature.
It would be nice if the grinder were a little taller: to get the "exhaust" into a large bowl, you have to raise the grinder by installing the optional leg extensions, or by putting books or something underneath the grinder-- but this is only a trifling inconvenience. Overall, this is a good grinder and I would recommend it to anyone."
