"It sounds great and very realistic. Anybody can use it which is another plus. You can't do multiple calls from it though which is a problem sometimes. If you are new at it though and looking for a good cow call that takes no brains to use then get this."

"Without a doubt the easiest and best sounding elk call I've used. It's nearly impossible to mess up using this call...just put your thumb over the air escape hole and push. The faster and harder you push, the quicker and sharper the call. The slower you push, the softer and more drawn out the call is. Twist the end to change the pitch of the call. It won't go off in your pocket, it's extremely light, and mine functions the same rain or shine. I've had mine for three seasons now and have used it with great success on both bulls and cows. If you are looking for a simple, effective elk call, the folks at Primos really hit the nail on the head."

"This product is an exceptional call for Elk hunting in Idaho. During the 2006 Archery season my buddy and I were able to use this call while stocking a heard of about 30 elk. I hit the call one time and sure enough we had close encounter with a bull. He came screaming of the ridge down towards us; however, he was facing us and never presented a shot. This call is great for the Rut. I only have on complaint with the call. In really cold weather like 10 degrees this call sticks and make awkward noises that scare off the game."
