"this scope is good it is clear and have not ever had it fog up the only bad thing is the power ring is hard to turn but does not hinder you unles u need to change the power quick.it gathers light okay.it is a little $$ but i have had 2 scopes that were around a 100$ on my 17hmr and both have have not held there zero of a postage stamp 3 shot group at 100 yrds"

"Recently, I purchased the VX 3x9x40 scope. Good, clear optics. Does not fog! I purchased the scope for my Encore muzzleloader and I love it. This particular scope is the best bang-for-the-buck that I've seen in optics. The only disadvantage is that like all 3x9x40 optics, is that the scope does not allow enough light for hunting in (just before dusk) situations. But, if you want more light, buy a bigger and more expensive optic."

"I have the 3X9X40 VX-1 on my T/C Encore, used to be on my 7MM,Mag until I bought the VX-3, 4.5X14X50 for that rifle. I plan on getting another Leupold for my New .270 real soon. Up in Caribou camp 9 out of 12 hunters had fogged up scopes the second day, rained every day, Three of us had Leupold's..I've tried other brand scopes but I keep coming back to Leupold."

"Ive got this mounted on a savage 303 in caliber .308 and its still workin. Very easy to dial in and it doesnt click when you turn the knob so it can be more precise. Very nice and easy to aim with it"

"This scope is on my dads Remington 70 30-06 and it has een for the better part of a decade and a half. its been droped, stepped on, rained on, frozen scorched in the Humid Carolina summers, dropped n mud and still the gun and scope stay true to the mark.

"I purchased a Leupold VX-1 3X9X40MM rifle scope for my Savage .243 Winchester rifle and I haven't had a scpoe this good ever! I have used many other name brands that were fine, but did not have all the quality the Leupold has. Adjustments are exactly as instructions say. Move one of the dials one click and impact changes 1/4" at 100 yards just as it says. Extremely precise and extremely clear and sharp. Leupolds are worth every penny spent. You won't be sorry!!"

"I have a VX-I 3x9 40mm on my Rem. 270. This scope has work great under all the conditions of deer hunting, snow, rain, etc. Year after year before deer season start I go to check if the scope is on target and i have yet to make one adjustment. Its dead on after being bumped, banged, etc. I would recommend this scope to anyone for any kind of hunting conditions!!"

"when i shot my first buck the conditions could'nt have been worse so that buck in my scope hoping mt scope wouldnt fog up and it didnt this scope helped me shoot a 10 point buck. this product works"
