"This is the microwave of cooking. No u dont need a microwave to cook, but it just makes life so much better. I can't fish without it now. No more fish pokes or the fish jumping out of your hand or the fear of a hook in your hand. It works great, I took some of my best hooks and i don't know how, but they would not go through the glove! The part with the orange or yellow color is not hook proof though, but it still works great. The only thing that knocks this glove it they make the sizes in s/m and L / xL. my hand is a large but the L/xL fits a little big, but its well worth it"

~Almost~ punture proof!,August 25, 2008

"I used these gloves with 100's of fish while on a fly-in trip last month. Northern Pike and Walleye pack some teeth!! Never was a hook or a tooth able to penetrate the hard palm and finger surface, except once... OOOWWW! After grabbing a 43" Northern I felt invincible, until a 36" Northern the next day managed to puncture both thumbs through the gloves! Oh well, much better than going bare handed I guess! Both gloves developed an odor after a week of extended use which was easily remedied in the washing machine. I will continue to use and recommend these gloves. (they run a little small btw)"
