L&S MirrOlure® Catch 2000 Jr.®

L&S MirrOlure® Catch 2000 Jr.®

It’s hard to beat that famous MirrOlure flash and wounded minnow action! Since 1937, MirrOlures have been tearing them up around mangroves, shell bars and shallow shorelines. These effective suspending lures have been scientifically weighted for neutral buoyancy, allowing anglers to fish the shallows without hanging the bottom. With a twitching retrieve, the MirrOlure comes ''alive'' in the water, darting from side-to-side, resulting in monstrous strikes.

"Having the right lures for the job is what it takes to be a successful inshore angler. This plug is one of those required tools. It looks like a small finger mullet one of the primary foods of inshore gamefish."

"Another Mirrolure that mst be in my box at all times. Very effective when fishing the shallow flats of Charlotte Harbor for reds, trout or snook. As with most Mirrolures work it slow and twitch."

Mirrolure, July 16, 2008

"This bait is the best not just for salt water but all waters. I wade fish for stripper bass and whale on them 12 pound bass in even when there not bitting. Hard for some people to believe even me sometimes every cast there's a large bass on the hook. By 8: 00am I'm done . Just to elaborate when I say them in1 hour I've caught as many as 20-25 12 to 20 pound bass so I take the kids and let them fish ."

"I have got to tell you that right now i don't think that you can beat A mirro lure for cathing snook on the Myakka River and in Charlotte Harbor. I have been fishing the area for several months now, fishing days and nights 3 or more times per week. I use the catch 5, catch jr, catch, mr17 & mr19 in a variety of colors. They all consistantly out perform even live bait for snook. I have caught other species as well, but the snook eat these up like candy. When all esle fails cast a mirro lure. I have become a huge fan, and these lures dominate my tackle boxes. They also work great in the surf, off the beaches.

In the photo, not a trophy but proof positive. right from my dock, I can catch them all night long with a mirrolure.

Catch 2000 & Catch 2000 Jr., December 10, 2007

"I probably shouldn't be telling you guys this, but these things slay Snook. Okay, I'm not going to tell you what color.................. can't give away all my secrets. I call this the "Do nothin" lure. To me it looks like a stick, I mean it just doesn't have that much action. But who am I to argue with Mr. Snook? Here's a tip: try working it slow, real slow. I've had lots of hits while the thing is just laying there, "Doin' nothin". Try it. You'll like it."

"Bought my lure on discount today and later went night fishing with my boys. First cast, I caught a nice snook; turned him loose and casted out again, only to catch two snook back to back. NICE..........."
