Advantages: Value for money

"I just finished recarpeting my boat with this. I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep the boat before I sell it so I used the least expensive carpet. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the color.

My best advice to anyone: Using heavy duty scissors will save you a LOT of time cutting. This carpet doesn't cut well with a carpet knife, regardless of how sharp the blade is. It frays pretty easily on the ends. I could have saved 5-6 hours if I'd used scissors the whole way.

Another tip: use spray adhesive for the edges and corners. Much easier (and less messy) to work with. I used the bass pro shops carpet glue for the flat parts.

"We used this carpet to do the entire bassboat. It has been almost a year since then and I could not be more staisfied with the carpet. It is very easy to work with, to clean, and you can put lures on it without having to worry about having them stuck onto carpet. I found that using the industrial grade rubber cement applied with a brush is the easiest way to install the carpet."

"This is a good quality carpet at a very reasonable price. Easy to work with and does not fray too badly providing you alway work with a good sharp blade. I recommend the Boat and Outdoor carpet glue at $24.99 per gallon."

"I think this is the cheapest carpet I could Find. If you look at my boat you would have no clue how cheap it was because it looks great. I swear people sell this stuff with some big name on it and jackup the price. Next time I may try the premium but I think I will always come back to the standard carpet. Thanks Bass Pro."
