Great boat for the money,May 23, 2009

"We weren't sure about buying an inflatable boat but after reading a lot of good reviews and researching the FH 360, we bought the 12 ft one. It was a great purchase and we use it all the time. It is sturdy and can easily hold 3 adults and our gear. This boat makes for a fun day on the river and then can be folded up and put in the trunk of a car. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and would highly recommend it. There are also a lot of extras you can buy to make it even better."

Great bang for the buck,November 8, 2007
By SanAntonioFishermanfrom San Antonio, TX
"This is a very easy to setup boat. You do want to buy the extras. Mine is fitted with the hard-board floor, the electric engine mount and a small electric motor. I also got oars, which is smart for those cases where your battery fails, as well as two anchors and a "water" anchor. I have small folding stools on each end of the boat, since the inflatable chairs are not too much to talk about. I have a small air pump that connects to the car electric jack, and that let's me inflate the boat in 10-15 minutes. The rest of the setup is about 15 minutes or so. I have the largest version, and it fits my wife, my two young kids and me, plus rods, the hard floor and all the other stuff I mentioned before. The boat is quite stable even with that load. I think my whole setup ran for about $500 to $600. I doubt I could get any better deal than that for something that gives me hours on end of fishing."

Good value,September 9, 2007
By Muddawg
"I have an HF-360 and have finally gotten over the stigma of using an inflatable (lots of kayaks in the water where I fish). I have outfitted it with the boat boot (definitely recommended if you can find one) and a Minn Kota 40 lb motor (don't even try to row this thing - get a motor). But I have used it to get from point A to point B in the bays close to where I live and it has done a very good job. It holds air for days, and has plenty of room for 2 people and all your gear. For calm, fairly shallow water use, this is a very nice setup, particularly for the price."

great boat,July 11, 2007
By fsh-hntrfrom new york
"i recently purchased an hf-360 and used it for a week straight on a lake in upstate new york. the boat was great .i added a bass pro shops prowler 30 lb. trolling motor and a humminbird piranahmax 210 fish finder to the boat and had a great time with it. i did have a problem with a leaking drain valve though but i sealed it with silicone and solved that problem. i don't think it would hold 6 adults but i was reading on sevylors website that they only recomend 3-4 adults. for the motor i have the battery bag was to far for the motor cables to reach so i removed the bag and used it right under the motor behind the seat. with the small problems taking care of the boat worked great and we had a great time fishing with it i would and have recomended it to other people already."

might be the best $250 ive ever spent.,July 1, 2007
By frawk
"The boat goes pretty much anywhere. i bought it one week ago and ive been on it 7 days straight! Its incredible when its packed with a standard 30 minn kota motor. IF you add the weedless wedge, it literally goes everywhere you would want to go without being tangled even once! If your loking for a inexpensive way to catch fish the same way that the pros do it, then you've found one. I weigh about 280 lbs and im 6'4 and my buddy that usually comes with me is about 6'1 and 220 and we both sit comfortably and haul in those lunker bass. try it for yourself"

Good little boat,July 14, 2006
By ll1234from Was michigan just moved to Connecticut
"I have owned the HF-250 for over two years. Bought it because I couldn't buy another vehicle to put a boat on top or to pull one - I have a Honda Civic. So this boat folds up nicely and fits in the trunk. Itis light weight and can be carried a distance if you want to fish in a lake that is off of the beaten path.
I select the Sevylor because it has 5 chambers and that has come in handy once when I ripped one chamber pulling the boat on shore as a lightening was crashing around me. I was able to get to the boat launch and later fix the boat.
For most of the last two summers, I have used it 3-6 times a week (Yes I am addicted) and it has served me well. I built a wooden floor for the bottom and I am able to stand in it when it suits me.
The only knock I have is that they exagerate the number of people that can use the boat for fishing (and presumably hunting). The HF-250 is supposedly a 3 person boat and the box that it comes in shows three in it. Two large people will have problems. I have no problem by myself or with my daughter joining me but I don't bring all of my tackle when she is with me.
The neat thing about it is that you can go places others would not take a "normal" boat. There is no draft so water depth is not an issue. It is also fun to catch a big fish without an anchor down and play "Old man and the sea" fighting fight the fish while it is pulling you around. I have had some 5 lb bass do this for me. You will need an anchor though since it doesn't have a draft and is easily pushed by the wind but that makes it easy to row. I have had not problem covering a lake that is over a mile long."

leaks,June 26, 2006
By hidden pond scoutfrom Nashville, Tennessee
"I should have known better, it was the only one on the shelf and it was taped up like it had been opened before. I got it home to find out it had been used, it had muddy foot prints in it and the battery box was ripped from the rope. keeping positive I inflated it and took it to the pond, about 30 minutes later I noticed it was going flat.....then I was very dissapointed."
