"I was a little hesitant about buying this line because of the mixed reviews about it but I am glad that I did! I bought the 6lb test super vis. and it is a heck of a lot stronger than 6lb test. We were catching catfish and walleye up to 5 and 6 lbs with this stuff and the line never broke. Highly resistant to abrasions and very low memory. Could not be happier!"

"I ordered this Mr. Crappie Hi-vis line in the 6lb and the 10lb. First time using it, I was real impressed with the strength and the way that I could see strikes better by looking at the line, Instead of waiting for my rod to detect strikes. First Time using this line, I caught a 4 pound smallmouth on the 6lb test on a Crappie Hunter 9 1/2 foot rod fishing for crappie. For you fisherman who are familiar with Mr. Smallmouth, you know they are fighters. I was using a crappie jig with a minnow. Used the same jig on this line all day and never frayed or broke at the knot. Caught fish all day with this line and never had any problems. I would purchase this line for the rest of my fishing life. Also the 10 lb line was equally impressive for catching catfish and bass. Cast really smooth. I would definetly recommend this line to anyone. {TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT}. Just save me some."

"I bought a spool of 6lb line to crappie fish with, but the diameter was a little large. I started bass fishing with the 6lb line. I fish 4 in. worms on 1/8 oz. lead heads, and this line is fantastic. It has very little memory, and the only time I have broken a fish off was my own fault for not retying. All mono will break if you don't retie frequently. I'm going to buy more 6lb for bass and some 4lb for crappie. I have found a lot of guys don't know how to spool a spinning reel, and that causes most of their line problems. If they don't buy this line it just leaves more for me."

Snaps at the knot,June 6, 2008

"I thought at first this line would do allright, being reasonably priced for so much, but it didnt. I was using the four LB test for trout throwing a black rooster tail, and almost everything i caught broke of at the knot. even the smaller bream broke it. Alot of the fish i caught broke the knot when i was removing the hook. I would not recomend using it unless u get at least the eight LB test. Good Luck"

"Just tried using this line with bobbers, and line repeatedly broke where the bobber was attached. Too easily damaged, shouldn't be used with a bobber. We also had trouble with bird's nests and loops when casting. Guess I got what I paid for."

"I have recently purchased a pole/spin combo and had to purchase line for. I purchased some burkley smooth cast line 4lbs. The first fish i caught was about 1.5lbs, the next one got away. It was about the same size as the first. The line kept breaking when i was catching 1.5lb trout. I got rid of what was on my reel, put the rest of the line from the same spool and kept loosing fish. I got the Mr crappie 4lbs line because it was reasonably priced and i got 3100 yards of line. Other line was anywhere from $10-15 with only 300 yards. The line has held up so far when catching 1.5lb trout.
I would definitely buy it again!"

"I like this fishing line a lot. I use the 4lb test on ultralight/light reels. I have used it to catch everything from (small) smallmouth and largemouth bass to perch, bream, crappie, shad, and pickerel. The only fish I have ever had break the line were pickerel (I don't use a leader) and one BIG bass that was probably bigger than the tackle I was using was appropriate for. It also was pretty limp, and cast well. My only gripe was that I wish it came in a clear color too."

"I don't usually write reviews but after some excellent results with this line I just had to share. I have been using this line for about a year and a half. I mostly use it for fishing jigs /roadrunners. I have caught crappie, catfish, stripers and bass with it. The 4# test has very good sensitivity and strength. What really sold me on the line was the 8 POUND LM BASS I caught on the #4 line. Played her for quiet a while as not to loose her. For the price and quality of product I don't think it can be beat. Thanks BPS."
