Worked better than I ever imagined!,August 19, 2009
By SCDuckmanfrom Chester, South Carolina
Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Performs well
"The doves were landing right beside my decoy! Drew them in on opening day 08' like a magnet. Our limit in SC is 15, had 11 birds down, in the bag by the first hour of shooting. Would highly recommend rechargeable batteries and extra clip-on dove decoys to make the spread look more inviting."

Great Motion!,August 11, 2009
By NKram622from Conyers, GA
Advantages: Durability, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"MOJO has always made a really good motion decoys and this is no different. My only complaint is that there is a little more wobble when on the stake then I would prefer. Other than that they are great."

Works Great!,April 9, 2009
By rcgIIfrom MS
"This decoy draws the birds in closer and several have tried to land by it. On more than one occasion we had to let the birds get away from the decoy before we could shoot. I agree with the others that suggest a longer stake to get the bird up a little higher but either way I love mine."

Love my MOJO,September 3, 2008
By bandit1from Southern Indiana
"I bought one of these this year for the first time, I am taking my 8 year old huntng with me & thought it couldn't hurt to try to get more birds closer. We sat this up with 6 clip on decoys, & the action was AWESOME. We had more birds lock up to land with them than I have ever had even get close enough for a shot. I would recommend that if you get one though to build a taller pole, I cut me a piece of 1" square tubing & camoflauged it with paint & got the decoy about 4 1/2 feet off of the ground. The pole with it will only get it about 3 feet, at the most, off of the ground."

1st Mojo Purchase,September 17, 2007
By Toolbox
"I've used the Mojo twice this year and have had more shots in the field than other hunters. It is an effective method for bringing 'em in closer. Saturday I shot and winged a bird and lost sight of him. My dog evidently watched the "winged" bird bank and return to the Mojo and land beside it. "Sarge" jumped up and ran past the decoy and picked up the dove. The dove was very much alive but, had one wing bone broken. This impressed me the most. I will purchase at least one or two more mojo's. TB"

New MOJO Design,September 6, 2007
By GB
"I have the same issues with the new pole design as one of the other reviewers and contacted MOJO with the same response from them. I have two of these. The first one with the long pole worked great on last week's hunt, however the battery pack broke the first time I tried to install batteries. Luckily there was a spare in the box. The second one had the useless short pole and wouldn't even run when I got it home. It's going back today. If you can get them to run and elevated, they work great."

New Pole Design,September 5, 2007
By Buck
"The new designed MOJO Dove comes with a pole and stake that only allows the Decoy to sit about 12-14 inches off the ground. The old design had a 3 section pole that allowed it to sit about 2 1/2 to 3 feet above the ground which made the decoy more visible to flying birds. I find the new design ineffective to bringing in birds. We have and old design and a new one and set them up at opposite sides of a 300 yard field with same vegetation. The new design didn't bring the birds in like the old one as it appears that with the decoy so close to the ground they can't pick it up. I emailed MOJO to question this as the manual that came with the bird stated it had a multi section pole and the response I received was. "MOJO Outdoors wrote: We apologize for the misunderstanding. The MOJO Dove pole has been changed and now include only one section of square metal tubing and a stake that screws into it. Again, we apologize for the inconveinence. The instructions were accidentally left the same and not updated to reflect this change." I would recommend this only if you can fabricate an extension."

just a helper,July 24, 2007
By oldgold
"as an avid dove hunter, i use decoys when it is necessary to bring the birds in close enough to shoot at. early season birds do not usually require decoys fo a sucessful hunt. the mojo seems to be most effective around water with the aid of some ground decoys AT the waters edge. a lot of hunters think the dove decoy is similar to duck decoys in attracting the birds to come in to range. not so. most of the dove shots will be pass shooting not landing or trying to land shots. the mojo is simply an attractor not a magic wand. camo seems to be very useful also placing the mojo BEHIND you is the best set-up so the birds (if any) will fly over you to check-out the decoys. oh yeah, you gotta hit em'--------------"

MOJO Dove,August 31, 2006
By iowaclayshooterfrom S.E. Iowa
"My hunting partner and I have six of these decoys, we use them in slightly different ways. He mounts his decoys on a 8 ft. piece of pipe and I use the furnished stand. We both have the same results. Doves will zoom the decoys or try to land beside them."

Excellent for Feeding and Watering Areas,April 26, 2006
By CenTexBassfrom Central Texas
"The Mojo Dove decoy system is an excellent product for use around areas that tend to naturally attract the birds, such as feeding and watering sites. I've personally experienced the results of using two of the decoys in a plowed 200 acre sunflower field. Instead of watching the doves fly around more or less randomly looking for a place to feed, almost every bird either attempted to land, or at least flew by, the two spinning decoys. This really increased the wing shooting opportunities. I also saw similar results when placing the decoys near watering holes. This product is not nearly as effective however, on doves that are just "passing through" an area or on doves that are actively migrating."
