MUZZY is the only head ill use,October 23, 2009
By dwulff99from MO
Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"ive used a few diffrent broad heads and have yet to find one better! me and my brother both use these heads and have NEVER HAD A DEER GET AWAY. they leave a nice hole and blood trail. i shot a deer first time i went bow hunting last year and killed a doe at 25 yards and she fell 40 yards from where she was shot and that was after her roll down the hill.
i wont shoot or recomend anything but this head for deer"

Excellent Broadhead,October 21, 2009
By TonyCFLfrom Central Florida
Advantages: Durability, Performs well, Quality
"In my opinion, this is the best broadhead out there. The hardened tip punches through initial impact and the blades do the rest. This is the only broadhead I will shoot. I get clean pass throughs every time."

Get these to put meat in Freezer,July 10, 2009
By Joker3373from Mid Michigan
Advantages: Durability, Performs well, Quality
"I've Been bow hunting for five years now and wish I would have bought them befor a year ago. I got my first buck last year on a horrible shot do to release problems, hit it right below the skull cutting wind pipe. He dropped within 10 yrds. Then I shot a four year old Doe on the last day of bow season hit her with a spine shot broke right through and came out the front brisket. I shoot a PSE with a IBO of 305 FPS at 70lbs stay pretty true in flight."

Not Bad,February 17, 2009
By ndbuchkofrom FT POLK, LA
"Shot a nice doe with these. I hit it kinda far back but the broadhead did its job. Had a good blood trail from my arrow to were she piled up 40 yards away.
Make sure you shoot these before going into the woods, there is some difference between field points. It comes with a practice blade so you dont need to worry about messing up your hunting blades."

good broadhead,February 3, 2009
By bucky280from North Carolina
"The 4-blade muzzy was my first experience with these broadheads and they performed well. I did however, have to always adjust my sights when switching from fieldpoints. This changed when they came out with the 3-blades. They shot relatively the same as the fieldpoints and required no change to the sights. The 3-blade 100 grain Muzzy, in my opinion, is the best fixed blade broadhead you can buy period!!"

2nd to none,December 29, 2008
By msolocam1from Campbellsburg, Indiana
"I've tried many different kinds of broadheads in my bowhunting life(15yrs), and I was never really satisfied till I came across the Muzzy. I have taken 10 whitetails, 2 red foxes, 2 coyotes, 3 squirrels, and one rabbit. (A little bit overkill for the small game.) Took a really nice 9pt two years ago, quartering to me at 15yds, passed through the shoulder blade, the vitals, into the ground about 4 inches. The broadhead held together great! I don't recommend a quarter to shot, but with years of experience, 290fps from the Mathews, a tough durable broadhead, and a close shot, it can be done. The broadhead flies true for me. Thanks Muzzy!"

Awesome Trail,December 20, 2008
By lovethemuzzyfrom NE Louisiana
"I have two kills with the 4-blade and the extra blade is well worth the minimal reduction in cutting diameter. First kill was a deer at 18 yards, she ran 70 yards and had a Great trail. Very easy to follow. This afternoon I was hunting in a lock-on and had a bobcat come out at 35yds. I was doubting my ability but actually pulled off the shot. The cat ran 45 yards leaving a trail that would rival any deer trail I have ever seen. Awesome broadhead and the accuracy is unbeatable. Would recommend to anyone who likes a solid blood trail to follow."

KILLING MACHINE!,October 22, 2008
By THEVULTUREfrom Florida
"I have used Muzzy's for many years, they are a tough, accurate broadhead! I tried Mechanicals for 2 years but after having blades break off on ribs I went back to Muzzy! I saw a review about them being "Fragile&Innacurate", WRONG!!! If you hit wood, damage may occur, but I don't recall EVER seeing a Deer made of wood! EVERY animal I have shot with a Muzzy has gone to ground in LESS than 75 yards, I have NEVER had a blade break off, I had one blade crack from a shot that went into the hog just behind the left shoulder, and exiting the right ham, Femur (LARGE BONE!!) caused the crack, but the blade still held together! They fly straight for me, I have used them out to 52 yards according to my rangefinder, and had NO problems with accuracy."

Muzzy Maulers,August 30, 2008
By Blacktailhunterfrom Oregon
"I have used these broadheads for everything from Feral hogs in S. Texas to big ol Blacktail here in the northwest. Not once have these broadheads failed me and i have hit some serious shoulder bones along the way. Pass through is almost a given everytime you release one of these sinister broadheads. I think they fly exactly like field points, making sight in a sinch. If your serious about putting your game down, thse are the broadheads for you. Built like a truck these are one serious broadhead for serious hunters."

My #1 Broadhead,May 31, 2008
By mrcbaxfrom Spencer, IN
"I've tried several different brands and these seem to work the best for me. Years of hunting have taught me that shot placement is key. If you hit them where you are supposed to they will pass through every time and drop a deer in 30 yards. Patience is the hardest lesson to learn in the woods it seems, especially when that big buck is staring you down. Wait for the right shot or don't take it at all, and if you can do that then you will be going home with a clean conscience and fresh jerky. I like the 100 grains best myself, but that is just personal preference."

Love the Muzzy Moment,December 23, 2007
By FrankTheTankfrom Whitney Point, NY
"I bought the Muzzy 100 gr 4-blade broadheads because a friend swears by them. They are extemely easy to assemble although I would make sure I have a broadhead wrench to get them on your bow--the little wrench they provide works but is a bit small. I shot them in practice and there was absolutely no adjustment needed on my bow--the groups were just as tight as my field points. I took them to the field and drilled a 6-point this year. The shot was a complete pass-though with major exit damage--the arrow came through so fast it actually ricochetted 15 yards into a tree. These will be the only broadheads I will put on my arrows."
