"i have been a "old school" cane pole user for several seasons now and i decided to up grade to the 20th century and purchase this pole... and im so0o glad i did!
i love the line guides and reel seat it will accept any reel you want to put on, extremely light weight and balances perfect...can hold at extreme end of pole behind reel and is literaly effortless. and you want to talk about backbone, this baby has plenty but is sensitive enough to feel every submurged stump and stick! i use 6lb fireline crystal on mine with an uncle bucks crappie reel. now i can use my old bamboo poles as great wall hangers...
and the built in ruler is quite handy if your waters has slot limits on papermouths

A great buy, April 3, 2009
By eagleye

"I’ve read about dapping and can’t wait to try taking trout with the 16 ft model that came well packaged in excellent condition. After looking at it up close and comparing it to photos of dapping rods from the U.K., this rod looks like it will fill the bill at a fraction of the cost. The quality of construction exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. This model comes in 5 sections with a guide firmly attached at the end of each. The reel mounts are well constructed, and turn smoothly with plenty of adjustment to firmly hold any spinning reel. And, each telescopic piece locks smoothly into place. A solid well engineered rod."

"This product is durable and light weight the only drawback is the three eyelets. Four eyelets would make this product perfect for panfishing.
The lack of a forth eyelet allows the line to stick to the rod particularly in the rain, this makes it difficult to tightline fish with jigs.
