Will not harm fish
"I have never used this net fishing but the Associate at Bass Pro Shop recommended this net for the application I was going to use it for and it works great. I have to net large Koi out of several different ponds for breeding, medication, and maintenance. The adustable handle is very sturdy and the netting does not damage the fins and are easy on the koi, some of them are over 36 inches and have to weight 25 pound or more. This is the best net I have used to date that is user friendly to the fish and myself."

"Great net but the netting got damaged by rodents and I can't find replacement netting. The replacement netting available on this site is nowhere near deep or wide enough."

"I really like this net but the one thing that would make it even better is if the metal clip that locks the net in place were made of stainless steel for saltwater applications. My first lasted about 1 year before the saltwater corroded the metal useless. I still recommend the net but be advised if its for saltwater use, expect about 1 - 1.5 years of use before needing to be replaced."

"Used this net several times now for landing large halibut. For as much of a beating that it's been through, it's still holding up well. No tears, or sign's of weakening anywhere. Good net , and very fish friendly. This net dosen't split the tail fins on halibut, like a regular net does."
