Mr. Crappie Line has all of the characteristics to be the finest specialty line available. It's camouflaged to be undetectable in any color water, yet its fluorescent stripe can be seen above water. Soft and supple, with low memory for easy casting. Best of all, it's extremely abrasion resistant, with excellent knot strength to get big slabs out of the toughest places. Excellent Value,August 31, 2009
By Coosefrom Somerset, NJ
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, durable
"I used this line for the first time yesterday. Previously I was using Stren Clear Blue 6lb line and I was pleased with that. I purchased this line because of the low price for such a large amount of line.
First impressions were great when I tied the Palomar knot to my swivel, very strong knot. This was verified on the water. I find this line to be extremely strong yet sensitive enough to feel the little bumps as I slow cranked a worm through the grass. For me this line has the perfect strength to sensitivity balance. Knot tying is easy and the knots feel nice and strong. Very low twist compared to what I was used to with the Stren and it is extremely smooth on the cast. I caught a few trees with the unexpected increased casting distance.
As a side note I also enjoyed watching the red and clear portions of the line moving I reeled, never saw anything like that before! Makes it easy to judge your retrieve speed.
Overall this line is great for the money, it's a value that can't be beat."

"Strong knots, great camouflage, and a unbelievable price. Sure there is some line twist but on a spinning reel all lines twist. If your too worried use a small swivel. No problems with twisting or knotting when pulling a loop out of the spool."

Mr. Crappie 6# Camo,April 13, 2009

One of the better ones this last week.
"After fishing with this line all week I found it to be comparable to other lines that I have used in the past. The diameter is slightly larger than the special thin lines but about the same as standard lines.
Using the camouflaged line in comparison to low vis green I can not see any real advantage. My fish (crappie) catching remained about the same so I am ok with that!
The line does seem to twist and have a bit more memory when first loaded on the reel. I just walked a couple of hundred feet of it across the yard and gave it a good stretch. After doing that the line really calmed down and fishes well. I have not had any problems with knot strength or line breakage.
I use the 6# test and have not had any problems whipping down hybrids in the 5-7 pound class. My largest fish to date on this line is 14 pounds 1 ounce. For the price and the amount of line you get on the ¼ pound spool (1980 yds.) I found this line to be a good value as I typically go through about 1500 yards per season. With the 2 spools I bought I have enough line for close to 3 seasons at about 1/5 of the cost."

Best 4lbs. line EVER!!!!!!!,June 18, 2008
By BIGFISSURE369from oak grove, mo
"I just bought this line and put the 4lbs test on my new Shimano Sedona 1500FB and Browning Medallion GT. I have been carp fishing recently cause I have never done it before and I have landed 11 so far with the largest being 28 lbs and the smallest being 5 lbs and they averaged 15 lbs. Keep in mind this is 4lbs test I was using!!! This is the best line due to its strength and abrasion resistance. If you don't have this line you need to get it!"

"I started useing this line this year and find it to be better than the Trilene XL I have always fallen back on before. I'm fishing the 4lb. line for crappie and it handles the job really well. The camo workd so well, I have trouble seeing it to tie my knots. I have yet to have the line break unless I was hung up and had to break off."

Best 6lb. test ever!,January 21, 2008
By bullseye222006from Camden, AR
"I used this line for the first time this weekend and i loved it. I caught alot of nice crappie, white bass, striped yellow bass, and walleye. Its very sensitive I could feel every small bite.....it casts great.....strong enough to straighten out your jig hook if you hang up in brush tops. And the camo color is great. Now my dad wants to order some after seeing how good it works. Its the best 6lb. test ever in my opinion."

great fishing line,January 6, 2008
By tlaw
"I use 4lb MR.CRAPPIE LINE for fishing crappie using jigs and live bait. I caught 4lb bass and even caught a 12lb 37" channel cat on this line, the line is very strong the only thing i noticed is that after getting snagged on sumerged timber it tends to bring the logs in and bend bend the hooks. I would rather change the hook after every big crappie than lose the fish during the battle. I would advise every crappie fisherman out there to use BPS MR. CRAPPIE LINE. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!"
