"I have owned similar older models of this tackle box in the past and have always enjoyed using them. I have had other boxes but always end up going back to these. There is plenty of room and well thought out layouts and designs. I am an avid bass fisher and these boxes keep all gear safe and organized. As stated by others just make sure you latch the inside clear box or you will have a mess with lures or gear falling out when you go to close tackle box, other than that an all around great product."

"I bought this box last week and have used it over the course of one weekend. Plenty of storage and layed out efficiently. Clear top box is helpful in quickly locating smaller items. Plenty of room in bottom for several of my spinners and crankbaits. Plus hold 3 spools of line, various tools and a softbait case. Very happy with this box."

"This box has more storage than I know what to do with. My wife is mad because I keep buying stuff to fill it up with. Very good choice. Lots of storage, and the clear lid lets me know where exactly my favorite lures are."

"This is a fantastic tackle box! I purchased one last year after monkeying around with a much smaller box that didn't fit everything I wanted to have with me on a trip. My stuff filled less than half of the box which of course means that I now get to buy more lures. I'd recommed this box to anyone."

Great all round tackle box,September 13, 2007

"I am new to fishing in the last year or so. So I have not tried a lot of boxes, but found the little one was out grown very quick. This box is tough The compartments are well thought out. I keep a little note pad with me about tips and things people have taught me and it with all the other tools sit nicely in the bottom and not move around. The top is great for tackle that you use the most. The inside of the top is handy for all your small parts i.e. hooks weights and small tackle. Behind that there is another spot for more tackle. The only thing you have to be careful of is to make sure the top inside is closed right or it will spill on you if you close the top. other than that its suited me to a T. Good luck."

"If a 4 1/2 stars ("very good") option existed, I'd have chosen that but between "good" or "excellent" I have opted for the latter. I've had bigger, fancier and considerably more expensive tackle boxes over the years but none that better suited my needs. The storage system takes a little getting used to (I dumped lures a couple times by undoing the wrong catches) but it provides a way to carry and "cluster" a broad variety of lures in a very compact manner - a true asset any time you're uncertain about conditions and the types of lures you'll need on any given day. Once familiar with accessing the compartments it's easy to use. So far, it has held up to treatment that is always less than gentle - occasionally abusive."

"This tackle box is huge! The picture doesn't really do it justice. All my stuff barely fills half the box which leaves plenty of room to acquire all the new baits I want! Plus, even though it's big, it's still suprisingly compact. I would definately recommend this box to anyone who has a love for the "old-school" hard tackle box but, like me, "just needed more room"."

"ive been fishing since i was a little kid and ive always had a small tackle box with to much stuff and i always would wind up leaving stuff behind and then needing it when im fishing.this box has it all.it has an area for spinner baits,extra slots for small clear boxes, and the spaces to store things give you enough room for everything u have.great box and would be a great gift for dad!!"
