"I have this kit along with about 50 other Mepps spinners in various sizes and colors. In my opinion, they make some of the best blade baits that you can buy, and this kit was well thought out by the folks at Mepps.
To start off with, this kit contains some popular and productive colors that I have had some great success with, and second, it offers a couple of different body styles and blade shapes that will allow you to fish different types of structure and water depths. The blades rotate easily and effortlessly around the wire body cutting down on line twist, but tying on a snap swivel will guarantee it won’t happen. However, the use of a short wire leader may be a better idea, since pike also seem to be drawn to these lures on a regular basis.
I love all the Mepps products; including their line of musky lures...the Mepps Musky Killers are excellent for huge bass. I highly recommend this kit as either an addition to an existing collection, or as the start of a new collection."

"This is a great kit to have and I wish I knew it existed before essentially buying all of these individually...if you buy this kit you save quite a few bucks and get a box for it. These guys are great for bass! Consider using ball bearing swivels to avoid line twists."

"I bought a few without the kit... And had success on Bass, Ive caught bass from 1 to 6 pounds. I generally like fishing Lakes. Ive Also caught Pike and Walleye. These are an all around good lure. Good kit for catching fish."
