Great Pond Bait

"I bough this bait because of its small size and have had great results with the bluegill, greenies, and bass. I use the blue and silver with quick twitches to make it flash and fish will bust this bait. This bait has a wide wobble and is great trolled. I love this little bait and plan on buying the black model too. Make sure to use this bait with 6 pound test or lighter to get the best results and fighting the fish is more enjoyable with lighter line."

"A group of guys and I in the spring make a fishing trip every year to Canada. This is by far our best trolling lure. It's good for Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye and small mouth bass. This black and silver Rebel lure has caught an 18lb LakeTrout, 16lb Northern Pike, a 12lb Walleye and a 5lb small mouth bass. Great lure!!!"

"This is my most favorite brand of jerk-bait. This is what I caught my very first bass on! It was also the 1st bass lure that I learned to use as well. The broken tail model of this lure is what I caught my biggest bass on. Not only have these produced tuns of fish for me but memories of my father teaching me to use it as well. Everyone needs some of these! It has an amazing action that drives bass crazy. If you don't own any of these great lures you are truely missing out."

"I really like to use these in ponds more than anything else. But there's really only one problem. The action needs some tweaking. More wobble would be a great improvement to this lure."

"this lure is like magic. I use it in the weedy areas or rocky areas. I would recomend it to enyone who wants to catch big bass. I caut a 5 1/2 lb and a 3 lb on it and tons more of little ones. TRY IT OUT!!!"

"This Lure is great around weeds and trees. In the lake that i like to fish theres an area with a hole bunch of trees in the water. It's nice to use the trolling motor in and troll around the tree area. It's an exellent lure for Laremouth bass. It has great swimming motion. I would recommend this lure to everyone!!!!!!!!"

"Great lure for surf casting for Striped Bass at night. (World's record 78+ lb. Striper was caught on one!) I fish the beaches around Long Island and I've used the 5 1/2" model but mostly use the 7" version and still catch the 16-20" shorts, but have taken Stripers up to 28 lbs. on it. Bass Pro Shops should stock the 7" model for us northeast surf casters."

"this is a highly buyount bait, which makes it good for twitching and jerking onthe surface.The only thing the matter with it is the hooks. Not high quality. I' d replace them if money were on the line."

"This is a real classic lure. I have always had great success using this for largemouth, pike, walleye, and smallmouth. My only complaint is they discontinued my favorite color. The original baby bass color. It was killer. Regardless this is a great lure and i would highly recommend it."

"I just bought this lure last night. I am not to sure on how to jerk it, if you will. I hope it works. The fish in my pond are a little spooky with the water being so shallow. There are a few deep drop points, so maybe I'll throw that way. Happy Hunting!!!"

"one word will suffice for the rebel minnow and the word is unbeatable! lot's of imitations on the market, some are great but none better than any of the rebel minnows. there is just something about the action that produces strikes. my 'go to' lure in the blue back color is simply a bass catcher with few equals, if any. if i had only one choice of lures to fish, this is the one i choose."
