"I love this jig. I use it for jigging off the boat on Ross Lake in Laona Wisconson. They are good when you put a leech or a nightcrawler on the treble hook. I caught the limit in three hours."

Not just limited to ice fishing!,December 28, 2007
By NJBassfrom New Jersey
"If you like the looks of this lure but don't ice fish, well don't think that's all you can use it for! I don't ice fish, but I use this lure almost 90% of the time for crappie/light bass fishing. I like jigging under docks and in and around structure on ultralight tackle with 6lb. fluoro or mono. A 4'6" rod is perfect (I use a G. Loomis GL2), and a small spinning reel. Jig it fast, slow, deep, shallow, any way you want, and you are pretty much guarenteed to catch the attention of any panfish/bass in the area. I have even caught walleye, trout, and pickerel. I recommend the color silver, or gold/parrot for stained water. Tipping it with bait is optional."

Great for Pike and Perch,September 25, 2007
By BrianV
"I've generally used this lure when ice fishing - the 'perch' colour is especially dangerous for pike. Seems they can't cruise anywhere near one of these without striking.
I've also had luck with perch on this rig. They strike fairly well without any baiting... stick a few maggots on it, and it performs quite well. Of course, when you bait it with eyes, you get a fish every drop.
These set very well; I've never lost a fish once on the hook.
Note: You may want to get one of the bigger variants of this lure. I've needed to do that to prevent smaller perch from taking it in. The bigger varieties are only really struck at by 'keepers' - 11" and bigger."

Great Lures,December 18, 2006
By djyak
"I've used these lures many times, especially great for trout. Doesn't take long to get a strike, better have at least one of these in with your tackle!"

Jigging Lures,July 11, 2006
By smileingfrom Connecticut
"So you think these are JUST for ice fishing?? Wrong!!! As a Pro bass tournament fisherman, I would not leave the shore without a good selection of the larger sizes in my arsenel.Deadly on those deep summer smallies and spots!!One of the biggest sleeper jigs out there!!!!With the hook set-up and them being as sharp as possible it is almost impossible to miss a hook-up. Those of you that like to get abig bag of crappie should almost a fish on every drop when in a good school.Pick out your favorite colors and match your lakes baitfish."
