MSR® Fuel Bottles for Camping Stoves

MSR® (Mountain Safety Research®) Fuel Bottles are made from a single piece of impact-extruded aluminum to prevent leaks and cracks. We’ve designed the bottles with thicker aluminum at the bottle’s base and shoulders to resist bulging when pressurized. Holes in bottle cap shaft allow a measured flow to prevent spills. "This is an excellent fuel bottle. I own three of these bottles, and two of them are at least seven years old. The bottle stays leak free as long as the o-ring is clean when you close it!"

Another thought, June 29, 2008

"I have had 2 of these bottles for years and they NEVER leak! I use them for camping to pack extra fuel for my coleman stove which I pour into the coleman tank to pressurize. However, my friends and I also use them to take extra gasoline when motorcycle cruising just in case you run out of gas. They're impact proof and safe....and hold a quart so that's about 15 miles per container. Just another way to use a good product."
