"these grubs have been a big winner this spring. i fish them on a jighead in the river. i've caught rock bass, smallmouths, carp, and crappie with them so far. the plastic holds up well and the smoke color looks very natural in the waters i fish."

"I have used These Spring grubs in 2&3 in. in white, smoke and now melon peper use them on 1/32,1/16 and 1/8 oz. jig heads. I have caught Largemouth upto 19",Smallmouth upto18",Stripers upto 24",10lb Carp,4lb Channel Cats,Peacock Bass upto 5lbs,Mayans,Oscars,Crappie upto15",White perch,Yellow perch,White & Hicory Shad,Walleye,Bluefish,Rainbow trout,Bowfin upto 6lbs. and of coarse Sunnies & Bluegills. There is almost no time or condtions that exist that I can not take these out and catch fish, almost regardless of size or speices!!"

"I found the Clear middle to be a disadvantage for attracting the fish to the lure. I got into a school of Stripers hitting shad and thry wouldnt even bite it, I changed to a more solid green color and they tore it up I even put on another lure as well and caught them, when stripers are hitting shad when you throw anything out there they will hit it! So I tried also for crappie too but no luck. so I dont think Id use this color combo again.!"

"I have used this grub for the last 18 years. I call it the survival bait, because if I had to pick just one bait to use for everything this would be it. I have caught sea trout, flounder, bluefish, redfish, stripers, sunfish, crappie, perch, all species of bass, rainbow and brown trout, walleye, catfish, carp, chain pickerel, northern pike, saugeye, sauger, drum, you get the idea. It out fishes all other grubs I have used. The 2" body on a 1/16 oz. jighead is my favorite and the pumpkinseed and baby shad colors are killer. When fish get finicky and nothing seems to work this will always produce something. It works no matter what state or type of water I have fished."

"I used to purchase the (3 INCH ) spring grubs in the STP crawfish and motor oil color by the thousands. Since they no longer make these I used Appleseed Green and Pumpkin Seed and they don't hold a candle to the motor oil color. I still have a 25 pack of the motor oil color that I switch to when I don't have luck with the others and always catch many fish with no problems in both lakes and rivers."

"I have used this bait in the black and chartreuse night fishing for several years. I find when I can't get a bite on a larger bait, I downsize and catch fish on this little bombshell. To date the largest caught being 5lbs. Sometimes size does matter when the fish are finicky."

"On the weekends of 4/10/10 and 4/17-4/18/10 I was in perch fishing contests. Friends of mine and myself fished for perch with great success. The Basspro springgrub along with various other plastic products were used with great sucess. Four of us were fishing the contest. Three of us caught perch with weight's of 2.7 lbs.,2.4lbs., and 2.1lbs. I would highly recomend Basspro plastic grubs,twisters, or other products for perch fishing . We also caught some nice 4lb.-6lb. smallmouths and pike on those products."

"these grubs probably produce more fish than any bait i know of. try the smaller ones for crappie, bluegills and perch. and don't be surprised to catch some decent sized bass or pike. of course, the larger grubs will catch bass, pike and whatever else is swimming in your favourite waters. choose the colors you have the most confidence in. this is very good choice for a youngster just starting out as they are easy to use. just rig on a jighead and you're ready to go. enjoy!"
