"This air gun is a very good one. it is great for a beginner, its got great power and with good aim you could really injure/kill a varmint. I have used it a few times, the only problem with mine is that i dont have one. I would recomed this to a friend, but be careful with the sight, it can break, what my friend does is he just looks under the first sight, the screw had fallen out. Over all this is great!"

super durable first rifle,

"this is the best product I have ever used from bass pro. when I first got her I went outside and my dad shot this beauty. from the start it was deadly accurate. as time past and I acquired new rifles, this gun was miss treated. it was left in the rain, twice. it was halfway frozen in my garage. but eventually Ihad a need for a rat gun, so I took it out. and to my suprise it was still as powerful as the day I got her. she has fired over 5,000 times and she still manages to hunt rabbits and rats. now she is old and rusty, but she is still the super durable gun you'd want for a first gun."

"this gun is the best bb gun to buy if you want bond with your child gran child nesse nephew or just by your self and take it from me i and my dad are bonding perfectly teaching me gun safty.this gun is perfect foor back yard target practice.also good for back yard hunting and when i said hunting i meant only birds small snakes lizards frogs and squrrils. people say it dont work on squirrls but it does if you got good aim.when i got this gun i was amazed i am sure your youngling will love it as i did so when i got it i rate ths five stars"

"A very good product it is the perfect starter BB gun my son Adam loved it when I got it for him for his 12th birthday. Its not to powerful but while my son has one I consider it to be a good thing, its easy to load and pretty reliable."

"This BB gun lasts for an extremely long time. I used one all the time that was around 30 years old. It still shot great. These BB guns are easy to use and a lot of fun! However don't expect a high powered shot from this BB gun."

"i got the red ryder when i was 7. it shoots accurate, i know this because when ever i shoot it at cans i hit them all w/ one shot. it also is strong for 350 fps. i recomend this to anyone. it is a great gun to teach gun saftey and have a great time outdoors. i also recomend this if you need to bond wl this child."

"the only reason i got this gun because the movie,the christmas story it is an all right gun you cant kill squrils with it because its not strong enough you can kill birds with it if you shoot them in the rite spot like the head. but otherwise this gun is a great starter gun for kids but not a hunting bb gun"

"the gun handles very well. Very strong and it is my most liked rifle. It holds alot of bbs. It is very accurate. My fathers is 36 years old, so the gun will lsst a long time if you take of it."

"really cool little bb gun great for the grandchildren,to sit around in the spring time and bust some target's up with! I would reccomend this bb gun to any grandparent to spend some time with a grandchild and bond with them and just create some great memories ! ALWAYS WITH SUPERVISION THOUGH! "Ordered as a gift, it was a good starter for my 8 year old daughter. She loved how easy it is to operate, it does not have the complex features as some of the more costly air guns but everyone can remember their first Red Ryder BB Gun."
