Poor Quality Target,October 31, 2009
By jmoorefrom Florida
Disadvantages: Durability, Performance, Quality
"I shoot a 55 pound recurve with field tips and I have worn out the vitals and the area behind them after just 3 months of daily practice. I expected a little more durability. I suspect compound shooters will be even more sad with this product."

Good target for the price,March 27, 2009
By latt44from PA
"This is a good product for the price. Vitals do wear out rather quickly, however can be replaced. I'd recommend spending a few more dollars and buying a more durable target (you'll save money in the long run)."

fair to good,February 23, 2009
By dpbrown
"This product is a good product for the money. I bought it this last summer and used it quite a bit. My only complaint is that the vitals did not last as long as I would have liked. Consequently, this year I took it out to the field and used it as a doe decoy, removing the antlers. I shot a nice 10pt. at 15 yards as it tried to inspect the doe. For the price that I paid it worked for me."

Not worth the money!,February 11, 2009
By bucky280from North Carolina
"This target works ok for a while but the vital area wears out quickly. Mine didn't even make it through 1 season! The replacement vital is about half the price of the target so it's not very economical. Put your money toward one of the layered vital 3D targets."

Excellent 3-D target,November 7, 2007
By speedycopefrom Pawnee, Ok
"Excellent target for field points and broadheads. Holds up strong to years of abuse. The plastic legs can be hit with an arrow and not damage the arrow."

Fair Priced,October 16, 2007
By PaHoytfrom Cochranton, PA
"I purchased one of these targets for both tree stand and ground practicing with field tips. I shoot 70 lbs using A/C/C arrows and have found that it is pretty tough to pull the arrows out. I also tried some of my 2219 XX75's they pull out a lot better. So it appears that the target works a lot better for aluminum arrows than carbon shafts. So far I have shoot approximately 150 arrows into it and it is holding up pretty good. The stakes seem to hold the target from the arrow impact without any issue of the deer leaning after being shot. I would buy this target again for aluminum shafts, but for the carbon shafts I think there are better targets."

Not so Great,September 16, 2006

"I shoot a 70lb pull compound. I have a good amount of trouble removing arrows from this target. It is a nice target but I think I will stick to a block."

Backyard Buck II,August 16, 2006
By MIBFBowhunterfrom Bingham Farms, MI
"Have used this target for about 2 months and it seems to be holding up quite well. I practice about 3 to 4 times per week, usually shooting about 30-40 arrows each time and only using field tips. The Backyard Buck is easy to move and set up in a variety of positions for shot placement practice. I shoot from the ground and from a treestand so it has taken shots from all angles and has held up well. Arrows are easy to remove from the vitals core without the aid of an arrow puller. If shot elsewhere on the target, an arrow puller may be necessary. The price is right. The only flaw is that some of the vital core foam has come off of the back side where the arrow tip exits, which may reduce the lifespan of the vital core. To date I am very satisfied."
