Advantages: Ease of use, Long lasting
"I have several of these and use them for a variety of things. I use the small ones in the kids lunch boxes and they work great. I also have the curved one for keeping cans of drinks cold, and the bigs ones I throw in the cooler on camping and fishing trips. All work well, and last for some time."

Not frozen, but cool,January 26, 2009

"used in cooler with a fresh kill. Did not keep frozen, but stayed cool enough not to spoil. Better than using ice, and getting everything wet. Refreeze time is fairly short. Think the bigger models are the best deal, they seem to do a better job, especially if layering them in between meat layers. Found out works best if put layer 1/2 inch styrofoam sheet on bottom of cooler, then these, then meat, then new layer of styrofoam, and repeat. Less meat per cooler, but seemed to stay cooler longer this way."

"Overall a solid product. They do stay colder longer than ice without a wet bottom in the bait bag. I'm just not convinced that they cool the cooler down as quickly as ice."
