Advantages: Ease of use, Long lasting, Quality, Value for money, Well made/Durable

"Just bought mine, very high quality gloves. Be prepared though they don't have great dexterity but much better than an oven mitt. When opening the package there is also was a smell of dog food that will come from the gloves when brand new that will fade after a few hours."

What To Wear To Cook In, November 28, 2006

"I was unsure when I bought these that I had made a good choice. I was getting serious about Dutch Oven cooking, had just bought my second one, and was concerned about handling two at once. After the first time I used them, I was sorry . . . sorry I hadn't bought them long before that! I can handle the hot dutch ovens and utensils and barely feel the heat. I have even shifted hot coals with these without getting burned. They have kept me from getting burned too many times to count and I would not do Dutch Oven cooking without them. I highly recommend these for anyone who loves to use Dutch Ovens. I have never regretted getting mine."
