Ande® Tournament Monofilament Line - 1/4 lb. Spools

Specifically designed for anglers in pursuit of world record fish, Ande Tournament Monofilament Line is pre-tested to ensure that it won’t “over test” its IGFA weight class. "Been using this for over 20 years now. Too bad it isn't readily available locally.

This line has everything most fisherman demand from a low cost fishing line.

Ande line has never let me down and I'll be a life long user for sure.

"I have been using ande yellow mono line in catfish tournaments now for the last five years and in my opinion there are none that compare to the dependability and strength, the yellow line has great visibility under the night time fishing lights and the green makes a great leader line, i am sponsored by another leading line company and i still use the andes, shhhhhhh. try it and see
good luck this summer cat-men

Simply tough!!!, September 7, 2007
By NJBassman

"This line is my backup line next to Berkley Big Game for saltwater. Although it is not as abraision resistant, it is perhaps just as tough and has the same castability. This line has some more memory then Big Game though, but it is totally managable. I have put this line to the test on jetties, musselbeds, and offshore oil rigs, and this line remains tough! 20lb. test is my standard line for this line. I would recommend this over Big Game, but I like Big Game a little better, and this line is a tad more expensive, and harder to find at tackle shops. But overall, it is a great line! I use it on my Shimano Thunnus reel on a G-Loomis Greenwater 7'9" rod."

"I have been fishing for nearly 50 years and have used Ande lines for as long as I can remember. I was a fishing guide in Florida and line manufacturers would often "comp" lines for me to use. None were of the quality and consistency I grew to rely on from Ande. I still use it today on all my spinning reels and also construct my fly leaders with it. It is a supple, abrasion resistant line with an accurate break strength rating. It is very easy to cast with low memory. The stretchability makes monofilament lines forgiving, unlike todays braided lines."
