Advantages: Durability, Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money

"I have used these rounds for years. I started using them because my grandpa and my dad have used them as long as they can remember. I asked my grandpa why he used these .22 shots and he said because they are cheap and very reliable. He was right. I like them better than feds, remingtons, and winchesters. I have never had a dud in my plinking or hunting days. I got my marlin 25N about 4 years ago and they work really well with the gun. (I use the hollow-point and will go through 100 of them in a day with friends.) it is really reliable ammo."

Great, December 26, 2008
By supremeweasel67 from Clarksville, Tn

"We have all used these at one time or another. they are great for plinking and hunting. CCI is a quality ammo. I have used these and Remington ammo for over 35 years. I have both in my ammo box, and think both are fine. I do prefer to use the CCI for hunting, and they do cycle well in semi autos, when the Remington ammo sometimes doesn't."

Green tag accuracy, September 27, 2008
By witchdoctor from Richmond, VA

"I have used CCI Green tag for many years, even when the tag was green. In 3 different Marlin .22"s they have proved more accurate, on the bench, than even the more famous .22 target amo. My sons and I have obtained 1/4" or smaller groups at 50 yards. We use them for squirrel hunting, up to about 70 yds. because of their accuracy and low noise. I would not use them on woodchucks or predators due to lack of power, but for hitting squirrels in the head and not spooking the whole woods, they are tops."

a good round, April 4, 2008
By Shadowgrass3 from Huntsville, TX

"The round nose mini-mags shoot very well from my rifle and have never disappointed me. The copper coat on the nose seems to help keep the barrel clean and I don't recall ever jamming due to bad brass. I also like that I can shoot a quality, accurate round for a reasonable price."

Awesome shells, February 8, 2008
By Extremehunter12 from Upstate, New York

"I use the 22 Winchester Magnum for fox and coyotes. Never had a problem with misfires and jams. Dropped a coyote at 75 yards with a 40 grain Hollow point. He did not twitch at all. These shells have great range and knockdown power. A must have for those who like to shoot far ranges. The Maxi-Mag HP is also another good shell. It is a 32 Grain Hollow Point. Good for the shots the the 40 Grain may not reach out to. CCi shells have always been the best for me and I will never stop usingthem. The price is right and their quality is very great as well. Their 22 long rifle loads are very good for squirrels and other little varmints. The 22 Stingers are awesome also. travels at 1640 feet per second as has one heck of a smash when it hits. I shot a porcupine with one and he was history. It only took one. The Stinger is a like the 22 Winchester Magnum Maxi Magnum HP except it is in the 22 Long Rifle Load. These CCI cartridges are what I believe to be one of the best performing shells out there on todays market."

Excellent For Many Conditions
User submitted photo
"I use many different types and brands of .22 rimfire ammuniton. I have found that the CCI Mini-Mags are one of the best for all around conditions. It works well in ammunition sensitive semi-auto pistols and rifles anyone who owns a Ruger 10-22 knows what I mean by ammuniton sensitive. It is clean burning and will not lead barrels when shooting 500 plus rounds per session. It is not the most accurate but for it's price range you can't beat any of the CCI rimfire ammunitions performance and quality. I have never had a single misfire while using this ammunition due to a bad primer."

High powered but very quiet, February 27, 2007
By SuperHunter

"I used the 40 grain 22 long rifle CRN and noticed a change that they have from other shells. They were quiet as a 22 short with the power of a 22 long rifle."

Great Bullet, July 1, 2006
By varmintassasin from Estancia,NM

"The 22 Short CHP bullets are fun to shoot. They aren't loud like a normal 22 long rifle bullet, they sound like a capgun. They only go about 800 feet per second. They also are clean shooting so they don't make you claen your barrel every time you shoot them. I would recomend them to anybody wanting to plink or go after that gopher in their backyard."
