My Primary Call, March 9, 2009

"I have used this call for several years now and still love it. I use a different striker than the one that came with it but I just prefer my wooden one. This is my primary call when hunting. I can make just about any call that I need with this one call. The only thing I don't like is when using my wooden striker on this call it doesn't work well when it gets wet. I don't know if the graphite type strikers like in the picture would work any better but I like the sounds I get with my wooden one so much that I can put up with a few wet spots now and then. I don't remember if it comes with one but I keep a rough, S.O.S. looking pad with me to rough up the surface and correct any water spots on the slate. Try one, I think you'll be pleased."
