Fun bait for Northern Pike, October 27, 2009
By tallmoon from Danbury, Wisconsin

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money

"I have has some success with this bait. Nothing to get excited about, but yet a good fun bait. Great action, I have the black neon & watermellon seed. I have had more success catching Northern Pike more than Large Mouth Bass. I use a 3/0 Gamakatsu worm hook (red) threaded straight through the body weightless. I like the way it moves through the water. I fish clear weedy lakes in Northwestern Wisconsin. I get a kick out of watching the bait move throught the water and the northerns just nail it. Sometimes I catch a northern that I never got the hook set. They just will not to let go of the bait until I have them in the boat."

10.2 lb Clearlake largemouth

"In April 2009 this year, I chose this in Green Pumpkinseed in the 4" and teamed them with a 1/2 Strike King Football head jig and fished Folsom Lake in CA and slaughtered bass...fishing points in 15 to 20 feet of water after a 3 day rain spell...I caught smallies, spots and largemouths...was amazed at how well these work. I highly recommend these..."

Excellent Grub, December 30, 2008
By Bassmacker from Texas

"These are awesome. I can't find a lot of other double tail skirted grubs that are 4 inches, and especially not this cheap. I like to rig them with a 1/16 ounce jig head, which lets it fall slow enough, but it has just enough weight to be able to cast pretty far. The skirt is really free flowing, but doesn't get torn up as easy as a lot of other baits, and, not to mention, the fish love them."

"I've got these in Watermellonseed, and I love them, I fish them weightless with the Owner Twistlocks. They catch fish, plain and simple."

Super for Spots, November 7, 2007
By Skeeter07 from Montgomery, AL

"I caught a 3 1/2 LB spot the first time I used this grub on my second cast. I've caught fish with it before it hit the bottom and reeling it in to cast again. My favorite method is to rig it on a 3/8 ounce football head jig and drag or hop it acroos the bootm. Spotted bass just can't seem to resist the action of this thing."

I won't go back to Yamamoto, August 6, 2007
By E from Dearborn, Mi

"I tried these baits to see if they had the same action of Yamamoto's but wouldn't tear up as easy and low and behold they are great. They actually have a slower drop rate than Yamies and I can actaully have one left after landing a hog. I fish pearl white weightless texas rigged with a wide gap hook to get past that thick body. Yeah white! You can see the action and see strikes better too. They love it! I use no other color. Well in SE Michigan atleast."

Best bed fishing lure ever., February 19, 2007
By TeamBass from Everett, WA

"I have been using the skirted double tail grub for a few years now, and think this is the greatest spring time lure around. Rigged on a 1/8oz weed guard jig head and they skip under docks like you wouldn't believe, and they flutter so slow on the fall. I'm never without one on a rod."

BPS Grubs, December 2, 2006
By Bigbassfan from Dover NH

"These grubs are a great crawfish immitation. They catch a ton of largemouth and smallmouth when bounced along the bottom. I've also had a lot success by removing the skirt and rigging it weightless. The only thing I was dissapointed in was that some of the grubs skirted heads were off to the side where the skirt meets the bottom."

XPS skirted double tail grubs, July 22, 2006
By AJbinko from Traverse City, MI

"The XPS Skirted Double Tail Grubs can fool any smallmouth on the northern lakes that I fish. It perfectly mimics a crayfish when dragged through brush or over rocks, it is deadly and I always have one tied on from opening day 'till closing day. The added salt flavor ensures that fish will hold on longer, so you miss fewer strikes. A very versitile bait, a must in any bass tackle box."

great bait, July 11, 2006
By paul from California

"I bought the CHARTREUSE SALT & PEPPER and then went back for the pumpkinseed. I fished it using a 3/16 oz jig head or a 1/4 if needed. The skirt at the top of the bait never clumped, and the double tails fluttered the same way cast after cast. I found that fishing it quick and steady just off the bottom worked well"
