"I recently bought a GL3 6'6" Medium. I paired it up with a Quantum Energy PTi ( E30PTi-A) and it has, without a doubt, out performed all my previous rods. Amazing sensitivity but with a lot of backbone too. Just the other day, a BEAVER hit my lure and i pulled him all the way to the shore before realizing what it was and cut the line."

"I recently purchased a G Loomis GL3 in the SJR721 combination which is a light action spinning rod, fast action, 4-10 lb test. Like all Loomis rods, it is spectacular and I mated it to my Shimano Sustain 1000FE. There are a few things that set this rod apart from the competition. G Loomis has amazing sensitivity; you can practically draw a map of the bottom of where you are fishing as you can feel everything. This means you can feel even the most nimble of bites. The rod is also exceptionally strong; it doesn't have a problem handling that beefy largemouth. The strength doesn't come at a toll as the rod is phenomenally light; team the rod with a light reel and you won't get wrist fatigue, even if you fish all day. To compliment that light strength is an really ergonomic handle; it was very well thought and fits the hand nicely. While the GL2 and GL3 are the two starter end G Loomis rods, they are far superior in quality and ability to practically everyone else's flagship rods. If you don't mind spending a few dollars, I highly recommend taking a look at this guy!"

"I purchased the 6'6" rod with fast action and medium power to be paired with a 260 penn slammer as a light weight combo for schoolie stripes. After using it i quickly found it was cable of handling much larger fish I have land many bluefish of 10 lbs and multiple stripers over 25" the rod is amazing and worth every cent."

"I recently purchased my first G-Loomis rod, an SJR 700. What a difference it makes to fish with a quality rod. Not only did it increase casting distance and accuracy, the sensitivity of this rod has increased my harvest. The first time out this spring I out fished my partner 5 to 1 using the same presentation. I had a superior rod and could "feel" everything. This rod was the most rewarding purchase of fishing gear I have ever made."
