"I am primarily a crankbait fisherman. Living on Lake Ontario in Northern New York, crankbaits are...well...the lures that work. I prefer lipless crankbaits and when I saw these during my spring pilgrimage to Bass Pro Shops in Auburn, NY I bought a few. Turns out they are fantastic! A few friends came from out of town for a few days of fishing this past week, and on one particular day, I used only one lure, one of these Yozuri lipless crankbaits, the same lure in the morning and the same in the evening. I caught 7 Smallies, 1 Largemouth, and 3 Northern Pike on that same lure! This is one lure you should have in the tackle box. Kudos to Yozuri for designing it!"

"These are good durable quality lipless crankbaits that come with good hooks. They cast well and have a good (Loud) action that produces well. I have had my best luck on the Ghost and Bass patterns. They also work very well in deeper water with a vertical retreive."

Favorite lipless crank ever!,January 11, 2008

"I discovered this bait about two seasons ago, and now fish only this bait, the rapala, and the Bill Lewis original Rat-L-Trap now. However, I primarily use this bait out of all three. My favorite technique is the stop and go retrieve for largmouth in lakes, or burning it over and around weed edges/lines. I also like to yo-yo it next to bridge pilings and etc. Finally, fishing it in rivers for river smallies will be a very rewarding experience. The hooks are top quality, very sharp and strong. The wobble and vibration is very large, making it very easy to bass to hone in on. In addition, rattles add to the attraction, so don't be afraid to fish this bait in murky water. The body resembles a shad more than a Rat-L-Trap or a Rapala Lipless crank. Although it is more expensive than the two, it is definitley a step up, and worth the extra money. The colors are more realistic and flashy as well. I recommend this bait in color silver/black, green tennessee shad, and chrome/blue. I fish this bait on a Team Daiwa Fuego (6.3:1 gear ratio) baitcast reel, and a 6'8" MH Shimano Cumara rod, using 15lb. Seaguar INVIZX fluorocarbon. Good luck"

Good Rattle Trap!,December 29, 2007

"I have never had any success on rattle trap type of lure until this one. First, I can hear this lure coming through the water a "mile," away. Seriously, if it is 40 ft. out in 10 ft. of water I can hear it no problem, that has to account for something. But, on a recent trip to a farm pond, I used this lure and caught the only fish of the day. I nice a 2-1/2lb. bass that swallowed it. I got it out of him, after 15 minutes. The weather was overcast, with a temperature of mid40s.

"i cant say enough about these baits. i have been using them for 4 years now. you will be hard pressed to find a bait that is louder under water. it comes through grass very easily and flat out catches fish all times of the year. one of the best things about this bait is the finish. i have fished alot of different brands that might last one day of hard fishing if you are lucky. allthough the finish is not indestructible. it does last 10 times longer. i can easily get 1 year out of these baits."

"This is by far the best lipless crankbait ever. You can cover so much water in a little period of time it's not even funny. The loud rattles will call up any bass to hit. I really only throw four colors 1. silver/black 2. silver/blue 3. firetiger 4. gold/black. I prefer to run it near bottom but sometimes you can burn it near the surface. Make sure you don't use braid or you'll pull the hooks out of the fishes mouth."

"The Rattl N Vibe causes bass to hit it harder than any other lure I have fished. I have done best pumping it and with a semi-fast retrieve. It falls differently than other lipless lures, and it is on these pauses that they hammer it. After fishing it on two occasions, I broke one off , when I got home and ordred 4 more. I used this lure one day, while another good fishin' buddy used another lipless crankbait (we will leave out the name) and I was catching 4 - 1 over him. My new "favorite" in my box!"

"Heavy and compact with a tight wiggle. Casts like a bullet and good colors as I have come to expect from Yo Zuri. I have trolled this and caught lake trout. Caught several quality smallies with it also. This is by far the best lipless crank I have used, and I've used a lot. Just wish it was a little less expensive."

"I have caught many bass on this lure using the black/silver, blue/silver and baby bass colors. I have caugh two 5 pound bass and one 7 pound bass on the baby bass colored one, and alot more on the other ones, including a 22 inch snook on the blue/silver one. I have also caught many mackerel with this lure. It is one of the most versatile lures in my tackle box. I wouldn't leave the house without it."

THIS IS WHEN I DECIDED TO TRY THE YOZURI VIBE. THIS LURE IS TERRIFIC. WE HAVE NEVER CAUGHT SO MANY QUALITY BASS. WE CAUGHT 31 OFF OF ONE POINT, AND WOUND UP THE DAY WITH 65 LARGEMOUTH BASS FROM TWO TO SEVEN LBS. I LOVE THIS LURE!!!!!"
