Advantages: Performs well, Value for money
"works fine,tack down the suction cup or glue to small block of wood or???,put little piece of tubing or tape over spring wahla...cheap spooler"

Disadvantages: Difficult to use, Performance
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Suction does not hold, spool tightener thumbscrew not threaded completely, line unwraps from spool and into the spring. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!"

Disadvantages: Performance
"First of all, I "love" BPS, always have and always will. I must say that this is "NOT" a good item at all. The suction cups (I have both items, spinning and the bait-caster models) are "Terrible"; I've tried every surface I can think of. The tension holder doesn't doesn’t hold at all, on either model. Sorry BPS, but this one is a complete "miss"."

"This has got to be the BIGGEST waste of money ever. Suction cup never holds long enough to get 20yards of line on your reel. I have always thought of BPS "store brand" items to be great products and they are. However BPS dropped the ball on this one. Hopefully they will re-think this idea. For now spend a few more bucks and invest in a "spooling station". You will be glad you did... I WAS!!!!!"

"This thing works great for me.Ive used it for 2 years and it has yet to give me promblems.You can adjust the tension and put line on Baitcasting reels or Spinning reels.It lets me fill the spools evenly on both.Buy it !!"

"Definitely a disappointment. It is cheaply made and does not spin smoothly causing uneven tension in the line. Don't waste your money you'll get better results tossing the spool on the floor."

Don't waste your time,

"I bought this line winder hoping it would simplify my re-spooling jobs. But, the screw head is plastic, and got stripped the first time I tried to tighten it. Now, it doesn't clamp tight and if you drop or even move it when spooling line the crew comes loose, causing the spring to push the hardware off the dowel, and everything falls apart. Also, the suction cup is just not practical, what would be really useful is a clamp instead."
