The 4-way on/off switch lets you turn on just the lights you need. With the black lights on, fluorescent fishing line can be seen at a distance of 50'. Use either 6 D batteries (not included) or 12V electrical system. Complete with carry strap and 2 suction cup feet for temporary placement on the boat rail.

Works as Expected.,November 14, 2006
By AnonymousUserInDCfrom Washington, DC
"I am very pleased with this product. It works exactly as expected and is quite durable. I have not had any problbems. It is easy on batteries and the ability to use the cigerette plug is an added bonus. Both work extremely well. With clear blue flourescent (CBF) monofilament line, it shines and glows. It's really neat. Have I cought more fish? Who knows, but it can be useful at times. The white light comes in handy when you have to tie on a new lure in the dark. The black light makes your CBF line glow. I've found that this really helps more to see where your line is headed, as opposed to seeing nibbles or bites, but it does still help on the dark night fishing.
Anyway, bottom line is it works exactly as I would have expected, and it has held up well. I'm pleased with the purchase.
Happy Fishing!"

Don't go out at night without one!,August 13, 2008
By Roundboydukefrom Lancaster County, PA
"I've had this light for two seasons now and it needs a new bulb, but other than that it's a very useful and reliable unit. My buddy and I fish a lot at night, and I couldn't imagine fishing without it. What a black light does for you is allow your flourescent line to glow brightly in the dark. This allows you to "see" a bite. If you're fishing a jig or tube or other lure you're bouncing along the bottom, when a fish picks up the lure, you'll see your line swim away -- time to set the hook! Couldn't tell you how many fish this light has helped us catch, but more times than not, you'll see the bite before you feel it. This light does everything it needs to do. I'd strongly recommend this unit to anyone looking to increase their hookups at night."

Stalker III,July 12, 2006
By mikesxpressfrom Virgina
"Light works good but does not warrant the price. They could drop off the strap, the white light on the back side, the two extra suction cups, and eliminate the battery compartment. This would reduce the price of the light and make it more resonable"

Good light,July 11, 2006
By Woodmanfrom Springfield, MO
"This light works well, nice to have the white light on the back. When you use the right line, it looks like rope at night, and helps you to see the light strikes. Super nice that you can run it with the lighter adapter or with batteries, you can even take it pond or bank fishing!"

NIGHT STALKER LIGHT,July 11, 2006
By Catfishfrom Saint Louis, MO
"I've owned this light for 2 years now and it has been great. I could have spent much more on a blacklight, but this has proven to be a very reliable and effective piece of equipment. Not only does it make my fishing lines light up brightly at night, but it doesn't attract bugs the way white light does. Battery life is excellent with this unit as well."

"I'm not very happy with night stalker 3.I've had two of them one lasted about two months and the other two trips. They need to go back to the 2 model. I've had one of these for a few years with no problems."
