"I fish alot of lakes with lots of rocks and stumps. I purchased this item because I like to carolina rig . I tried a different style rig like a boomerang rig-first cast out it snagged- I lost the weight but not the hook"

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well
"Prior to purchasing these weights, I would lose approximately 3 to 5 egg sinker/hook set ups every fishing trip. Now I may lose one set up every three to five trips. I now spend more time fishing and less time retying. Plus I also get to save money for other fishing product.s"

"I have used these no snag sinkers for a couple of years now the perchase I just made were for a friend I fish most weekends form March 1 thru thanksgiving. The pair of sinkers I use I've been using for about two years. They save me alot of time fishing not having to make my line and alot of money on tackle"

Fast water friend

"I am an old school bait fisherman. I like a slider rig behind a #12 swivel with about two feet of fluorocarbon leader and a #8 octopus hook. I am a firm believer in the Gulp worms-in-a-jar in natural color and they have never let me down.
So, having said all of that I fish some fast water from time to time. There are trophy trout and some salmon to be had in a river about 20 minutes form my door. Throwing a slider rig in the river is like throwing your gear in a wood chipper. You are sure to get snagged. The only way I found to defeat it is to use a slinky weight but to make a 3/4 oz slinky it ends up seven inches long and is ungainly.
As ungainly as this weight looks it truly performs. Not only did I get my rig back after the first cast; I came home with the same rig I left with! Remarkable.
Buy some if you fish fast water over rocks."

Used Similar Rig For 20 Years

"I have used tire balancing weights for this purpose for 20 plus years. I used to drill a hole in the end and attach a large swivel and they worked great but were prone to damage and line twist. When this product came out I had to give it a try, it does everything my crude version did without any of the problems and is an excellent product I would recommend to everyone. It is also great for direct line tie and using a leader for bait fishing as it will not roll in the current like egg sinkers and other types will."
