"Most of my rifles will accept the dual dovetail bases and rings and that is what I use. They are absolutely the strongest method of mounting a scope to a rifle. Dependability is critical on a hunting rifle and the dual dovetail bases and rings have never failed me even after several falls and hard knocks. I would use these on every rifle I own if Leupold would expand their selection of rifles. This is the first mounting system I recommend to anyone mounting a scope."
