"Originally bought these for saltwater fishing but just spent the weekend catching lots of catfish with my wife on a creek near my home using these hooks. These hooks set themselves and with only a couple of exceptions the sets were in the corner of the mouth. Talk about ease of hook removal. You will not be dissappointed with these hooks."

"I have been striper fishing for years and have gone through trial and error with many different hooks. The gamakatsu octupus circle is basically the industry standard yet I have lost a great deal of big fish on those hooks. I just switched to the red owner hooks and went 9 for 9 hook ups on my first trip. I think that is incredible for bait fishing with circle hooks. I am buying more!"

"These are awsome. Super light wire and very sharp. My only grip is that they are offset. These use to be my favorite light tackle circle hooks untill the Gulf Charters Fishery Amendment 27/14 said offset circle hooks in state waters was a no no for reef species. Either way these guys will find there way into my freshwater gear for baitfishing because I like them so much."
