Cotton Cordell Cotton Cordell® Wally Diver® Lures
Legendary profile and action—the Wally Diver was the first true walleye crankbait. Cotton Cordell's Wally Diver are as deadly as ever. The smaller, junior size Wally Diver features an 8 lb. test line and will easily cast on spinning or light baitcasting equipment, exhibiting a "rock with a roll" action at all retrieve speeds. Slightly larger and with a 10 lb. test line, the regular Wally Diver features a tight, controlled action.

"I picked up this lure at the bass pro outlet and it sat in my tackle box for several years. Eventually, I decided to give it a shot and all I can say is wow!!! This thing is a producer.
I've caught largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, trout, kokanee, and perch.
In fact, I can use this lure to catch fish when other fishermen don't even bother to try. Blue bird day @ 2 pm w/ tons of skiers? Yep. Trolled a drop off and nailed at least ten smallies -- including a 5 pounder!

"The Wally Diver has good movement, excellent colors and sizes, and it always gets down to where the fish are. I have fished them all my life and I trust the product and the results it produces. Walleye yes, but also bass suspended on a drop off. It's my all time favorite body bait."

"Troll and cast for white bass; cast for small mouth and large mouth and very productive when nothing else is working. Trolling have caught stripers and walleye when they are surface feeding on bait fish."

"have used these lures for years,never for walleye, they are out of the box tuned plug -and my go to lures for backtrolling for summer steelhead,spring chinook and any species of lake trout. Ease of use makes them a "foolproof" lure

"I use this bait when trolling for walleye and catch countless amounts of them on it. Besides the great walleye it is able to attract, it can also catch good sized smallmouth, largemouth, and even some pike. My best luck on this is when the water is a little cool. Also, when the lure has some blue on it."

"The Wally Diver is one of the few consistent producing baits I've ever used.
Besides being great for walleye, they also regularly produce LM bass, smallies, and an occasional pike. This lure also seems to work regardless of water temps, time of year and lake location.
This is my second favorite crankbait, and I have quite a few!"

"This lure is pretty darn amazing. I use it at the river, on the lake, and, shockingly, in the stream! The lure is so entising that little smallies even hit it in my 4' deep creek! It has excellent wobble and a good dive. I reccomend one of the green colors. (I've found that works best)"

"Between the first of May and the end of June, you can't beat the Wally Diver in Indiana. Not known for large Walleye, Indiana DNR keeps the lakes well stocked. This lure is the best option, especially when trolling. It is a rare occasion that I don't limit out with this lure. Great on sandy flats around 8 ft. deep in weedy areas."

"this lure i use when i troll,i fish the kanawha river in wv,and this lure is the best i have ever used,the colour is important,plus the speed,after you figure this out,your good to go,i find that the perch and the chartruse do the best for me .the cd5 is good in 10+,the cd6 is good for20+,the line size and type plays a big part in how you fish.this lure has caught walleye to catfish for me."
