Perfection...,June 1, 2009
By OhSeeDee
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money Disadvantages: none
"The pro's who designed this grub did not forget any details. The grubs are fat from tip to tail and will be flush with a mushroom head. The colors are excellent I reall like the translucent white which is a clear water killer. They have nicely shaped tails that give off good action. All that packed into a price that everyone can afford. Nice bait!"

Great Grub!!!,May 3, 2008
By Want2fish
"these grubs work great when you are fishing rivers or little channels off of rivers. the last 5 days i went fishing at the river i caught one 4 lb. bass and about 5 more keeper bass. i have also caught a lot of nice keeper blue gill and crappie off of a grey grub just swimming it about 3 feet deep. Great with a grey grub and yellow jig head"

Gotta have grubs,April 10, 2008
By Speerzyfrom Guelph, Ontario, Canada
"For all around fishin' it's hard to beat the simplicity of a grub. Then think of all the ways to rig and fish it. The XPS grubs are an excellent choise. Lots of colours and a good price. Just a note to all the American boys. If you're coming up to enjoy a northern Canadian fishing resort; bring lots of grubs, and jigheads and you'll be set. Keep the colours simple white, black and chartreuse......... and a couple of Rapala's"

"These are great when the bass are suspended. I fish for suspended bass off points during the winter with these. They swim just like a shad"

Disappointing,January 23, 2008
By StripPitBassinfrom Peoria, Illinois
"I am disappointed in the color of these grubs. I ordered color 09, 11 & 19. They appear opaque on the web page, but when they arrived, I found they were much more transparent than pictured on the site. The purple flakes are the best of the ones I ordered. But the others are probably only suitable for extremely clear water."

Best Grub Available!,January 5, 2008
By NJBassfrom New Jersey
"Prior to trying this bait, Kalin's grubs were my favorite grub. But it had some pretty large flaws. For one, they didn't come in the 4" size. Two, they were very undurable and delicate; changing the bait after 3 fish would be above standards. Lastly, they didn't had a rounded nose, not a flat one, so it was harder to rig it with a jighead, which is how I usually fish grubs. But I found this grub, durable, comes in 4", and a flat nose perfect for using a jighead! Although it doesn't have as many colors as Kalin grubs, they do have some great fish-catching colors. Additionally, there are scented, not just salted. The grub tail has an amazing rippling action. The plastic is very durable, yet soft enough to get a good hookset when a texposed hook is used in carolina or texas rigging. I prefer colors 10 for imitating leeches and stained water, and 08 for regular jighead presentations. I like the color pearl on a swimming jighead, like a swimbait head. The 4" and 5" perfectly imitate shad, which bass love! Other than that, 4" grubs are amongst my favorites for river smallie fishing, hopping it across the bottom with a jighead. For this presentation, I use a St. Croix Legend Tournament rod, and a Daiwa TD-Z reel with 14lb. fluorocarbon. And jighead with a Gamakatsu hook should be good. Giggy heads, Bite-Me jigheads, Tru-Tungsten jigheads, and spot remover jigheads are some of my favorites. I like slider jigheads for the pearl grubs. I rarely texas or carolina rig them, but when I do, the 5" grub is my go to size. Good luck, this is a great smallie and largemouth bait alike!"

GrubTastic!,December 25, 2007
By lmramosfrom San Leandro, California
"Grubs are my "go to" bait while guiding. And these grubs are high quality. Grubs can be an indicator bait, essential in any tackle box. My favorite is the salt and pepper 5'. If I had to choose just one bait to take on a trip, it would be a grub........"
