"I have tested many sharpening systems over the years. This is the best portable sharpening stone that I have found for fishing and camping. It is very rugged, light weight, stays flat, is easily stored in a pocket or backpack, and I have yet to wear it out. I use it to sharpen pocket knives, fillet knives, my KABAR, and even my small camp axe. The coarse (blue) side is usually enough to do the job, but I always like to give my knives a razor edge with the fine (red) side. The best part of all is that you use water for lubricant or can also use it dry. I have learned that carrying a sharpener with you in the field/boat is just as important as carrying the knife. This lightweight, compact, durable product gives peace of mind that you will always have a sharp knife. A sharp knife is not only more efficient, but it is also safer to use. Happy fishing and hunting!"

"If you are a hunter/fisherman, you need one of these. Keep it in your pocket, gear bag or tackle box to touch up the edge on your skinning or fillet knife. Theres no point in having a high quality knife if you don't keep a good edge on it for when it time to use it. Highly recommend to everyone."
